Norway final Squad for France

Five players represented by LTA Agency are called up by Norway women’s national team to participate at the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2019 in France.

Norway are in Group A at this summer’s World Cup alongside the hosts France, Korea Republic and Nigeria.

They kick off their tournament campaign against Nigeria on Saturday 8 June.

Ahead of their opening match against the Africa champions, Norway who are nicknamed Grasshoppers have lined up a friendly against South Africa on June 2 in France.

Former Spain international striker, Laura Del Río has retired at 37, after 20 seasons as a professional in top leagues in Spain, Germany, England, and the United States.

Laura spent the final two seasons of her playing career with Madrid CFF. The veteran striker helped them maintain the category in the Primera Division.

In her remarkable football career, the Getafe-born goal scorer played for a number of important home and foreign clubs, winning many titles. In Spain with Levante UD she won three League Championships and four Spanish Cups. She was the runner-up of English Super League and the FA Cup finalist in 2013 with Bristol Academy. In the USA, she was also the finalist of the Women’s Professional Soccer League with Philadelphia Independence. While playing at FC Indiana, in the W-League, she was the top scorer with 15 goals and 13 assists in 2008.

The former Spain international has recorded 40 goals in 39 caps with the Spanish’s Women’s National Team.

The talented striker was one of the pioneers of women’s football in Spain, she was the first Spanish player to play in the professional League in the United States and in German Bundesliga with the powerhouse 1.FFC Frankfurt.

Laura was one of the first clients of LTA Agency from our very beginning in 2009, and we have always had a special relationship with her. We are very honored to have been able to accompany such a talented athlete and a fantastic person in her professional career.

Midfielders Amanda Sampedro (Spain) and Alex Chidiac (Australia) helped Atlético de Madrid to claim a third straight Liga Iberdrola title.

The champions have throttled Real Sociedad, 3-1 in their final league game of the 2018/19 season. Atlético de Madrid wrapped up their historic third consecutive title on Sunday with a difference of six points ahead of FC Barcelona and 27 ahead of third-placed Levante UD.

The 25-year-old Spain international midfielder, Amanda Sampedro, captain of Atlético de Madrid, played all the 30 league matches, scored 3 goals and provided many assists this season. It is her third championship trophy in a row with the club.

The 20-year-old Australian international Alex Chidiac joined the Spain’s top flight this season. She scored three goals in 19 appearances. As a first experience abroad, it is a success to win a second title of her career after winning the first one in her country with Melbourne City FC.

Captain Amanda and her team will look for the double against Real Sociedad in the final of the Copa de la Reina that will be played next Saturday, May 11th.

The 25-year-old Romanian midfielder Ştefania Vătafu has bagged the 2019 Belgian Women’s Super League title with RSC Anderlecht. The Romanian national team playmaker, Ştefania joined the Brussels-based powerhouse in July 2018 from Spain’s Liga Iberdrola outfit UDG Tenerife.

Ştefania started in the decisive match against KAA Gent as Anderlecht defeated their opponents 0-1 to retain the title and qualify for the 2019-2020 UEFA Women’s Champions League preliminary round scheduled to take place in August this year.

This is Ştefania’s first title outside of Romania. Previously, she won six straight League championships with Olimpia Cluj in her home country.

The Danish international midfielder Sofie Junge Pedersen has had a memorable season with Juventus FC. She clinched the Italian Cup just a week after being crowned the Italian champion. Earlier this season, she also scored the winner as Juventus beat Fiorentina 1-0 in front of a new record crowd at the Allianz Stadium.

Juventus make a double of successes this season. In the Coppa Italia final match last Sunday Juventus defeated Fiorentina 2-0 at Parma’s Stadio Tardini to win the Cup for the first time. On April 20th, the Bianconeri won the last Serie A game against Verona (3-0) and thus bagged their second successive league title. Sofie played 90 minutes of both matches.

Prior to that, on March 24 Sofie also played 90 minutes in the historic game against Fiorentina in which she sealed a home win for Juventus. This marked the team’s first match at the Allianz Stadium in Turin by playing in front of a record 39,000 spectators for a top-flight women’s game in Italy – an achievement surely to be remembered for years to come.

Danish international midfielder, Katrine Veje has clinched the 2018/19 Women’s Super League title with Arsenal.

Arsenal sealed a Women’s Super League title for the first time since 2012, as they stunned Brighton & Hove Albion 4-0 at the Amex Stadium in front of a new WSL-record crowd of 5,265.

Katrine played the whole winning match which led Arsenal to the trophy with one match to spare. Since her arrival in London from Montpellier in January 2019, the experienced left-footed winger has boosted the team’s midfield and contributed with her experience to the team’s successful run. She has featured in all of Arsenal’s league matches since her signature.

The team will host Manchester City for their final game of the WSL season on Saturday, May 11.

This is Katrine’s first trophy in England; she won other titles in Sweden, USA and Denmark.

LTA Agency are delighted to announce signing a representation agreement with the Norwegian national team defender Stine Hovland.

Stine, 28, currently plays in Norway’s top division, Toppserien, with IL Sandviken with whom she reached the Norwegian Cup final in 2018. The brilliant defender joined IL Sandviken in 2015 and has become a major part of the team’s defensive stability. Captain of the team, Stine featured in all league games playing full time.

Stine made her national team debut for Norway in a friendly match against Japan in November 2018 where she played for 90 minutes. She followed it up with good performances that helped Norway to the 2019 Algarve Cup victory.

The Danish international midfielder Sofie Junge Pedersen has won the Serie A Women title with Juventus FC.

Sofie, 27, helped Juventus to their second successive title since the opening of the club’s women section in 2016. Juventus stunned Verona of Laura Rus (represented by LTA) 3-0 to retain the league last Saturday at Allianz Stadium. They only lost two games in 22 league matches this season.

The experienced playmaker joined Juventus In December 2018 from Vittsjö GIK in Sweden. She played ten league games and scored three goals for Juventus.

This is her third league title. She won the Swedish title with Rosengard in 2015 and a Danish championship in 2014 with Fortuna Hjørring.

Spain’s midfield maestro, Veronica Boquete comes back to the National Women’s Soccer League with Utah Royals FC with whom she made her debut yesterday at the start of the 2019 season

Vero has played in the NWSL for Portland Thorns FC in 2014.

The star midfielder made her official debut for Utah Royals FC in their league opener on April 20th as she played 90 minutes in a 1-0 victory over Washington Spirit at Rio Tinto Stadium. They will play the next match against Orlando Pride on April 28th.

Vero joined the USA’s side in January from Chinese Super League where she played for Beijing BG Phoenix.

Sofie Junge Pedersen and Juventus advanced to the final of the Coppa Italia after knocking Milan out of the competition with a 3-2 aggregate win

Denmark midfielder, Sofie featured in both games of the semi-final against Milan. In the first leg played on March 13th, Juventus defeated their opponent with a 2-1. The second leg match played yesterday was a tightly 1-1 draw for the two sides.

Juventus will face Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia Final on April 28.
