Aboudi won Russian Cup

The 28-year-old Cameroonian international striker, Gabrielle Aboudi Onguene has won the 2017 Russian Women’s Cup with CSKA Moskva

Aboudi joined CSKA Moskva at the beginning of this season and featured in every Cup match including the final last Sunday, where she played for 90 minutes against Chertanovo at the Electron Stadium in Novgorod. CSKA Moskva beat their opponents 1- 0 to become the winners for the first time in the history of Russian Women’s Cup.

By defeating every opponent on the way, CSKA Moskva have finally lifted their historic first trophy, which is  Aboudi’s second trophy  in Russia. Last year she won the League and reached the Cup semifinals with FC Rossiyanka.

The next challenge for the Cameroonian striker with her club this season is precisely the Russian League Championship as her team are currently second in the table with four matches remaining.

Sweden international midfielder Caroline Seger and Iceland defender Glódís Perla Viggósdóttir have won the 2017 Svenska Cupen.

Captain Seger and Glódís played 90 minutes in the Cup Final against Linköpings FC. FC Rosengård defeated Linköping 1-0 to win the Svenska Cupen for the second consecutive time.

It’s the first trophy for Seger and Glódís with FC Rosengård as they have just joined the team in this transfer window. It’s also the very first Svenska Cupen trophy for Glódís and the fourth for Seger after having won in 2006, 2008 and 2009 with Linköpings FC.

The 27-year-old Portuguese international defender, Raquel Infante has joined Rodez Aveyron Football of French First League.

Raquel comes from Levante UD in Spain’s Primera Division where she spent one season and ended the league at the 4th position. Prior to Levante, she played in Naisten Liiga in Finland for Åland United.

Raquel has played 14 times for Portugal National team and was part of her country’s squad at the recently completed 2017 UEFA Women’s Euros in the Netherlands.

LTA Agency have arranged the transfer of Cameroonian international midfielder, Genevieve Ngo Mbeleck, to Sporting Huelva of Spain’s Primera Division.

Ngo Mbeleck (24) comes from Louves Minproff of Yaounde in Cameroon and has previously played for FK Minsk in Belarus where she won the double in 2015, and got a taste of the UEFA Women’s Champions League the following season. Prior to Belarus, she played for Caïman Filles de Douala in her native country.

Talented creative midfielder, Ngo Mbeleck reached the final of the last CAF Africa Women’s Cup of Nations hosted by Cameroon, where she featured in 3 matches out of 5 and scored a winning goal v South Africa. She also played in 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada as well as in the 2014 African Women’s Championship held in Namibia. She has earned 8 full caps for Cameroon Women’s National Team so far.

Danish international midfielder, Sofie Junge Pedersen has joined Levante UD of Primera Division

The recent UEFA Women’s Euro finalist comes from Damallsvenskan’s top team FC Rosengård. Sofie (25) joined FC Rosengard in June 2015 from Fortuna Hjørring where she won the Danish Championship. For her first international experience, Sofie won the league and finished as Swedish Cup runner-up in her first full season in Sweden. Last season she was runner-up of the Damallsvenskan and won the Swedish Cup.

The young milfielder has earned 43 caps and scored 4 goals for Denmark National Team so far. She has featured in the semifinal and the final of the Women’s Euro 2017 in the Netherlands.

She joins Cote D’Ivoire international Ida Rebecca Guehai at Levante who is also represented by LTA Agency.

29-year-old Romanian international striker, Laura Roxana Rus has joined Cyprus champions Apollon Ladies FC

Best known as Lala, she comes from Spain where she spent one season with Sporting Huelva. Prior to Liga Iberdrola, Lala played in WK League in South Korea for 3 seasons and was League’s best goal scorer in 2015.

The lethal striker is well known to Apollon fans as she had played there from 2010 to 2013 and while there became UEFA Women’s Champions League best goal scorer in the season 2012-2013.

Lala is also a member of Romanian Women’s National Team and most recently scored against Portugal in the Euro 2017 final qualification play-off match.

Sweden’s National Team captain, Caroline Seger has signed with FC Rosengård after three successful years in France

Caroline comes from the French league and brings with her a vast international experience. 2016/17 triple-champion with Lyon, she won the Division Feminine 1, Coupe de France and UEFA Women’s Champions League all in one season having played 26 matches and scoring one goal for the current title holders. Prior to Lyon she spent two seasons with another French powerhouse, Paris Saint-Germain, with whom she reached 2014/15 UEFA Women’s Champions League final and 2015/16 semifinal. She was also D1 runners-up in 2015/2016.

Caroline played before with LdB FC Malmö former Rosengård and won Damallsvenskan and Swedish Supercupen in 2011. Seger won many other trophies in her native country, one championship in the USA with Western New York Flash before her latest achievements in France.

She has earned 171 caps and scored 24 goals for her national team so far representing her country in the recent UEFA Women’s Euro 2017 in the Netherlands where Sweden reached quarter-finals. Caroline featured in every game and captained the team in two of them at the tournament.

FC Rosengård’s sports director, Therese Sjögran said this: “Caroline is a player who for many years has meant a lot for the Swedish National Team’s successes. Her international experience as a player will bring a lot to our club, and she is also a perfect model for our young players.”

Line Røddik Hansen, Katrine Veje and Sofie Junge Pedersen reached the final of the UEFA Women’s Euro 2017.

The tournament was held in the Netherlands from July 16th to August 6th. Sixteen countries were present organised in four groups of four teams each. Denmark finished as runners-up of Group A to qualify for the quarterfinals where they ended the holders Germany’s bid for a seventh consecutive European title with a 2:1 win.

In six games played during the tournament, Denmark won 4 (including a semifinal win on penalties against Austria) and lost 2. All three Danish players represented by LTA featured in the final match won by hosts the Netherlands 4:2 in a back-and-forth encounter.

Fourteen players represented by LTA Agency took part in the Euro finals. Sweden’s Hedvig Lindahl, Caroline Seger, Linda Sembrant, Emma Berglund, Olivia Schough, as well as Spain’s Vicky Losada, Virginia Torrecilla and Irene Paredes exited the competition in the quarterfinals. Iceland’s Glódís Perla Viggósdóttir and Portugal’s Carolina Mendes and Raquel Infante went out following the group stage. Three of LTA players have registered their names in the goal scorers list of this year’s tournament. They are Carolina Mendes with two goals, Vicky Losada and Katrine Veje with one goal each.

Denmark’s Line Røddik Hansen, Katrine Veje and Sofie Junge Pedersen have reached the last four of Euro 2017

Having finished second in their Group with six points to qualify for the quarter-finals, Denmark knocked holders Germany out of the tournament. The historic 2-1 quarter-finals win last Sunday in Rotterdam was the biggest surprise of the final stages of Euro 2017.

Currently 15th in FIFA ranking, Denmark have 3 victories out of four matches in the Netherlands. Katrine Veje scored one goal and featured in all games while Line played 90 minutes of 2 matches and started the third one.

The 2017 Euros semi-finalists, Denmark will play debutants Austria on August 3rd in Breda. This is Denmark’s second consecutive UEFA Women’s Euros semi-finals.

Having reached the semis in the last edition in Sweden 2013, Denmark finished second in their group after the hosts the Netherlands, with 2 wins out of 3 matches. Denmark won their last match by defeating the 2013 finalists, Norway, with Katrine Veje’s impressive left-footed strike scored after five minutes of the game the only goal of the game, which earned Denmark qualification. Katrine featured in all the 3 matches, and Line played 90 minutes of 2 games. Denmark will face the holders Germany, winner of the Group B on Saturday 29 July in Rotterdam.

The 2016 Rio Olympics silver medalists, as well as Euro semi-finalists in 2013, the Swedes finished as runners-up of Group B despite losing 3-2 to Italy on Tuesday. They drew the match against Germans in their opening game and defeated Russians in their second match. Captain Seger and her teammates will play the hosts the Netherlands on Saturday 29 July at Doetinchem for a place in the semi-finals.

Spain with Irene Paredes, Vicky Losada, and Virginia Torrecilla ended in second spot in Group C thanks to an England’s victory over Portugal 2-1 despite Carolina Mendes’s early equalizer. Spain have qualified with only one win out of three group matches thanks to a superior goal-difference to Portugal and Scotland (also on 3 points). The 2017 Algarve Cup Winners and currently 13th in FIFA ranking, the Spanish will face Austria on Sunday 30 July.
