El EDF Logroño de Jade Boho, Barbra Banda, Rebecca Guehai y Grace Asantewaa derrotó Valencia de Zenatha Coleman por 1:0.

Barbra Banda es delantera internacional zambiana y la primera futbolista profesional de Zambia que juega en el continente europeo  y que llegó a Logroño en 2018.
Anteriormente campeona de la Liga de Zambia con Green Buffaloes, Barbra ha demostrado de inmediato un éxito en la Liga española con su velocidad, atletismo y estilo de juego directo.

Rebecca Guehai la mediocampista internacional de la Costa de Marfil, tiene gran experiencia en el fútbol europeo ya que anteriormente ella ha jugado por Kristianstads DFF en Suecia y el Levante UD  en la competitiva y prestigiosa Primera División Española.

La mediocampista internacional de Ghana, Grace Asantewaa se ha unido recientemente a Logroño ya que ha firmado su contrato con el club al inicio de la temporada. Ella viene de Ampem Darkoa Ladies FC en su país natal con el que ha ganado la Liga y la Copa de Ghana dos veces. Gracias a su talento y entrega, Grace ha sido pronunciada mejor jugadora de la Liga de su país de 2015-2016 y 2018-2019.

Zenatha Coleman, la delantera internacional namibiana ha jugado por Valencia todo el partido contra Logroño y fue una de las protagonistas de su equipo. Gracias a su técnica y rapidez, Zenatha ha sido una jugadora importante para su equipo actual, así como para sus clubes anteriores en España, Lituania y Namibia.

Atlético de Madrid y Athletic Club empataron 2:2

La centrocampista internacional española y de Atlético de Madrid, Virginia Torrecilla participó en el encuentro entre Atlético de Madrid y Athletic Club Bilbao el 8 de diciembre ayudando a su equipo a un empate 2:2.

Virginia está representada por la agencia LTA desde muchos años. Se unió al Atlético de Madrid al comienzo de esta temporada después de un período exitoso con el club francés de Montpellier, con el que llegó a la final de la Copa de Francia en dos ocasiones y también jugó en UEFA Champions League. Antes de Montpellier, Virginia ganó tres títulos de la Liga Española y dos de la Copa de la Reina con el FC Barcelona.

Actualmente, una de las capitanas de la selección nacional, Virginia ha jugado en la reciente  Copa Mundial Femenina para su país, así como en muchas otras competiciones internacionales de prestigio.

Su compañera de equipo, la mediocampista internacional australiana Alex Chidiac se recupera de una lesión  y por eso no ha participado en el partido. Esta es la segunda temporada para Alex en España : Ella llegó a Atlético Madrid en agosto 2018 y ha sido parte del equipo que ganó el Campeonato de la Primera División 2018 – 2019.

 

 

Gabrielle Aboudi Onguene, 30, Cameroon National Team & CSKA Moscow forward has renewed her contract with the Russian club for another two seasons.

Gabrielle has had an exceptional 2019: together with her CSKA teammates she won the Russian League for the first time in the club’s history, and she also helped her national team to reach the final round of the qualifiers for Tokyo 2020 Olympic Women’s Football Tournament.

Gabrielle arrived in Russia in 2015 and won her first championship with Rossiyanka in 2016; a year later, she lifted the 2017 Russian Cup with her current club. The Cameroonian Lioness has proved to be one the leading attacking players of the Russian league in the last few years.

Her talent, professionalism and commitment have always been valuable for the Cameroon National Team and the clubs that she played for.

Current Cameroon captain, Gabrielle is nominated for the 2019 CAF African Women’s Player of the Year Award along with her Cameroon teammate Ajara Nchout Njoya. It is her third time to be nominated by CAF. During the 2016 and 2017 editions of CAF Awards she was voted second best African female footballer.

Four players represented by LTA Agency are in the Shortlist of Nominees for CAF Awards 2019

Ajara Nchout Njoya, Ange Koko N’Guessan, Gabrielle Aboudi Onguene and Refiloe Jane are players represented by LTA Agency among ten nominees for the CAF African Women’s Player of the Year Award in this 28th edition of the prestigious annual African football ceremony. The final results will be released on Tuesday, 7 January 2020 at Albatros Citadel Sahl Hasheesh in Hurghada, Egypt.

Ajara Nchout, Cameroon National Team & Vålerenga Oslo striker, had a great season in Norway as Vålerenga ended Runners-up of the Toppserien. Ajara played every single league match and scored 11 goals to help her team qualify to the next UEFA Women’s Champions League for the first time in club’s history. She also played the final of Norway Cup scoring the only goal of her side. She played a major role to qualify the team for the Cup final with her hat trick scored in the semis. With Cameroon National Team, she had a remarkable Women’s World Cup in France as she scored two goals including a dramatic last-gasp winner against New Zealand that earned Cameroon a last-16 tie against England. She has also featured in the African Qualification campaign for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games scoring a goal that took her country to the final round of the Qualifiers.

Ange N’Guessan, Côte d’Ivoire National Team & UDG Tenerife winger, helped her club to an impressive fourth place in Spain’s Liga Iberdrola Primera Division. She won silver medal at the 2019 WAFU Zone B Women’s Cup and was name best player of the tournament. She also played Olympic Games Qualifiers matches with her country as they were narrowly defeated by Cameroon in the semifinal round.

Gabrielle Onguene, Cameroon National Team & CSKA Moscow forward, won her second League Championship in Russia with her club in 2019. Captain of the Indomitable Lionesses, she scored for Cameroon against the Netherlands in the 2019 Women’s World Cup and has also played in African Qualifiers for 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. It is her third time to be nominated by CAF. During the 2016 and 2017 CAF awards editions, she was voted second best African female footballer

Refiloe Jane, South Africa & AC Milan midfielder, is nominated by CAF for the first time. Vice-captain of Banyana-Banyana, she has become the first South African to sign for a top Italian side when she joined AC Milan, and she has quickly established herself as a starting midfielder for the team. The 27-year-old was part of the Banyana-Banyana team that made history by qualifying for the recent FIFA Women’s World Cup held in France for the very first time.

L’attaquante internationale malienne Aïssata traoré a paraphé un contrat de deux ans avec l’En Avant Guingamp club de Ligue 1 française.

Agée de 22 ans, Aïssata a connu une saison exceptionnelle sous le maillot du club Turc Besiktas qu’elle a rejoint la saison dernière en provenance des Super Lionnes d’Hamdallaye dans son pays natale.

Auteure de 8 buts en 9 apparitions, elle a offert a la formation istanbuliote son tout premier titre historique de Championne.

Elle s’est révélée au grand public lors de la saison 2015-2016, en inscrivant 25 buts en championnat national.

Aïssata est une joueuse clé de l’équipe nationale malienne de football avec laquelle elle compte multiples sélections. Elle a participé à six phases finales de Coupe d’Afrique : 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2016 et 2018.

Lala’s and Ştefania’s team defeats OH Leuven 7:0 in the Belgium Super League match. Romanian international midfielder Ştefania Vătafu was involved in Anderlecht’s heavy victory over League rivals OH Leuven.

Stefania opened the score from the penalty spot on the 5 th minute and added another one after 28 th to make the score 3:0.

She was rested in the second half. Her compatriot and Anderlecht teammate, Laura Rus did not play.

Currently the team of our Romanian top players is in the first place of the Belgium Super League after 8 matches played.

 

Nchout Ajara marque le seul but de Vålerenga en finale de la Coupe de Norvège alors qu’elles terminent à la deuxième place du tournoi.

L’attaquante Camerounaise a marqué de la tête le seul but de Vålerenga contre Lillestrom (1-5) en finale de la Coupe de Norvège hier.

L’internationale camerounaise a su participer activement à la qualification de son club pour une deuxième finale en trois ans. Elle réalise un triplé contre Arna-Bjørnar en demi-finale, pour offrir une victoire à Valerenga (4-1).

C’est la deuxième finale à laquelle participe Ajara en Norvège et avec le même adversaire.

Australian international midfielder Aivi Luik, 34, has re-joined her home club Melbourne City FC after leaving the prestigious Norwegian Toppserien and her last club Avaldsnes.

Her previous club finished the season in 5th place in the Toppserien thanks in no small part to Aivi’s contribution as the team only lost one match in which Aivi had participated since joining Avaldsnes in the summer. 

Before Avaldsnes, Aivi played for Levante in Liga Iberdola in Spain and spent short stints in Damallsveskan in Sweden with IF Kalmar and in Australia with Melbourne City back in 2018 when the team had broken Australian record by winning their third consecutive W-League title.

The experienced international midfielder was a part of the Westfield Matildas squad at the recent FIFA Women’s World Cup in France.

Aivi has had a remarkable professional football career that has taken her to as many as 8 (!) countries around the world outside of her native Australia. She has represented top tier clubs from the USA, Ukraine, Denmark, Iceland, England, Norway, Sweden, and Spain. 

About her homecoming, Aivi said, “I’m really happy to be returning to play with Melbourne City for the upcoming 2019/20 W-league season.” 

Aivi participated in the team’s training as the team’s focus turned to Canberra United at McKellar Park on Sunday 24 November.

Aboudi Onguené Gabrielle, Nchout Njoya Ajara et Raïssa Feudjio aident le Cameroun à se qualifier pour le dernier tour des éliminatoires du tournoi de football féminin des Jeux Olympiques, Tokyo 2020.

Les Lionnes Indomptables se sont imposées 2-1 devant les Éléphantes de Côte d’Ivoire en match retour du 4è tour des qualifications au stade omnisports de Yaoundé.

Les trois joueuses représentées par LTA Agency ont largement participé à cette qualification. Elles ont toutes joué 90 minutes lors des deux rencontres. L’attaquante Ajara (Vålerenga) a Marqué un pénalty occasionné par la capitaine Aboudi (CSKA Moscou), elle a aussi fait une passe décisive sur le premier but. Raissa (UDG Tenérife) a été exceptionnelle aussi active en défense qu’au milieu du terrain.

Lors du match aller à Abijan, les camerounaises réalisaient un match nul avec un score vierge (0-0) face aux ivoiriennes Stade Houphouët Boigny d’Abidjan samedi.

Au tour suivant, le Cameroun affrontera la Zambie.

During the yearly Football Awards Gala in Sweden, two players represented by LTA Agency won prizes. Hedvig Lindahl (VfL Wolfsburg) named the Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year, and Linda Sembrant (Juventus FC) named the Women’s Defender of the Year in acknowledgement of their remarkable year in clubs and their feats on the international stage with Sweden.

Hedvig Lindahl was named the Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year of the prestigious Sweden Women’s Award for the seven-time. The experienced goalkeeper has 204 caps with Sweden National Team. She helped her country a lot to win the Bronze Medal in the World Cup.
The 36-year-old international keeper currently plays for VfL Wolfsburg in Bundesliga. Hedvig joined the German’ side in autumn from Chelsea Women FC and she has already established herself as first choice goalkeeper of the club. With six clean sheets in nine league matches they actually lead the league. Thanks to her smart saves, Wolfsburg reached UEFA Women’s Champions League Quarter Final with no goals conceded.

Linda Sembrant (32) has been named the Women’s Defender of the Year. She has been instrumental in helping Sweden to win Silver Medal in FIFA World Cup this year.
Juventus FC defender, Linda joins the Serie A after her genial performance in FIFA World Cup. With Juventus, she has already won the Super Cup and has played every single league match with one goal scored till now.
The former Captain of Montpellier Hérault SC that she helped for the third place in the Division One Feminine in the 2018/19 season, Linda is a great reader of the game and has a strong presence on the pitch with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Barbra Banda and the Zambia Women’s National Team are through to the last round of 2020 CAF Olympic Qualifying Tournament after beating Kenya.

Zambia has faced Kenya in their fourth round of Olympics Qualifiers. They drew 2-2 in the first leg and in the second leg, they beat their opponents 1- 0 to reach the fifth and final round.

For a final ticket to Tokyo 2020, Barbra Banda and her teammates will face Cameroon in March.
