South African Refiloe Jane, Ghana's Comfort Yeboah, and Nancy Amoh have advanced to the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations semi-finals

From the original twelve players represented by LTA Agency at the 2024 Women’s AFCON, three remain as the race for the title heats up.

Refiloe captained Banyana Banyana’s quarterfinal match against Senegal on Saturday. They won 4-1 on penalties at the Honneur Stadium to book a spot in the semi-final.

Ghana’s Black Queens are through to the semi-finals of WAFCON 2024 after a 4-2 win over Algeria on penalties. Yeboah played 90 minutes, and Nancy was on the substitute list.

Both semi-finals matches will be play on Tuesday, Sud Africa will face Nigeria while Ghana will face Morocco.

Five other players represented by the LTA Agency from Mali and Zambia also qualified for the quarter-finals of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations. But they did not succeed in reaching the semi-final.Malian Saratou Traore, Fatou Dembele, Aissata Traore, and Fatoumata Diarra lost their quarter-final game against Morocco.Zambia and Barbra Banda lost against Nigeria (0-5).
