Leandra renews with LTA

We are pleased to announce that Famalicão midfielder Leandra Smeda has signed a new representation agreement with us

South African international Leandra Smeda who has already made her full competitive debut in Portugal earlier this month, has extended her contract with our agency. She has signed a one-year deal with the Portuguese Liga BPI ambitious newcomers FC Famalicão in November.

We have been representing Leandra for three years now as we helped her with the maiden professional contract at the perennial Lithuanian champions, Gintra-Universitetas in 2018. Later, in 2019 she joined Vittsjö and made history with the Sweden’s top division club after helping them for the first time in their existence, to finish the season in third place to earn bronze medals.

The veteran midfielder is a regular for the senior women’s national team of her country – Banyana Banyana with over 100 caps to her name. She has featured for South Africa in several top international competitions, including the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil, the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France, and multiple CAF Women African Cup of Nations finals.

LTA Agency are happy to announce signing a representation contract with the young Egyptian National Team midfielder Mahira Ali

The 23-years-old versatile player has already played over 35 international matches with Egyptian women’s National Team. She has been also Capped with Under 16, 17 and 18.

Mahira is a highly competitive player, who performs well at attacking positions as forward or attacking midfielder. The current El Gouna’s playmaker in Egyptian Premier League, Mahira was the 2019/20 Best Player in the Egyptian Premier League while playing with Aimz Egypt. The international Cleopatra has already had her first experience abroad spending the 2018/19 season in Canada with Oakville Blue Devils in Ontario’s League 1 where she won the 2019 championship and was awarded Oakville Blue Devils MVP in 2018.

She is the first Egyptian to collaborate with our agency which makes Egypt the 13th African country after Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Mali, Nigeria, Namibia, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe from which we have represented talented players in the last 12 years.

L’OG7 AWARDS est la cérémonie de récompenses annuelle qui pour le moment s’intéresse au football féminin. C’est l’œuvre de la capitaine de l’équipe nationale féminine des Lionnes Indomptables du Cameroun, Gabrielle Aboudi Onguéné

Cette prestigieuse cérémonie dédiée aux acteurs du football féminin a pour objectif de valoriser et de le promouvoir le football feminin au Cameroun.

La 2ème édition de l’OG7 AWARDS s’est brillamment tenue le 2 janvier 2021 à la salle vip du palais polyvalent des sports de Yaoundé. Six prix ont été décernés dans autant de catégories: Celui de l’Equipe championne de la saison 2019/2020, du Soulier d’or, de la Révélation pour la saison 2019/2020, l’entraîneur de l’année, l’Arbitre de l’année et enfin le Prix spécial « Aboudi Onguéné».

À ce jour, c’est l’unique grande cérémonie au Cameroun qui récompense les meilleures footballeuses locales et professionnelles, ainsi que les clubs, entraîneurs et arbitres. Il faut relever que Le football féminin est une discipline qui intéresse réellement le public camerounais depuis environ deux décennies seulement, ceci a été favorisé par les exploits des Lionnes Indomptables dans les compétitions internationales comme la coupe du monde 2015 au Canada et 2019 en France, les J.O de Londres 2012, et les différentes CAN, mais surtout celle de 2016 organisée au Cameroun.

L’OG7 awards est une initiative qui vise pour la capitaine des lionnes indomptables, Gabrielle Aboudi Onguéné à apporter sa contribution à la croissance de la version féminine de ce valeureux sport qui passionne déjà grand nombre de jeunes filles au Cameroun et ailleurs.
Dans cette perspective de développement du football féminin au Cameroun, nous pouvons citer aussi la première académie de football professionnel pour les femmes ouverte par sa compatriote Gaelle Enganamouit. Ces joueuses donnent espoir à la nouvelle génération, tout en œuvrant pour ce sport dans l’une des plus grande nation de football en Afrique: Le Cameroun.

LTA players helped Atletico to thier first ever Super Cup title with Njoya Ajara’s double on her debut with the club, Hedvig Lindahl’s big help in semis and and Virginia’s unwavering support from the stands and the changing room

Atlético on Saturday won their first-ever Spain’s super cup trophy with a 3-0 easy win over Levante in Almeria.

Cameroon international striker Ajara netted a brace and provided an assist in her first appearance wearing Atletico shirt to help them to dominate Levante.

Swedish international goalkeeper Hedvig played the entire final and semi-final matches. She proved to be the heroine in the semi-final last Wednesday as the ‘rojiblancas’ eliminated FC Barcelona 3-1 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in the regular time.

This cup trophy is Hedvig’s and Ajara’s first title in Spain.
The entire club have dedicated the first trophy of the year to Virginia Torrecilla who is fighting against a serious illness

Atlético de Madrid of Hedvig Lindahl and Ajara Njoya have qualified to the 2021 Spanish Super Cup final after beating FC Barcelona 3-1 on penalties

Atletico and Barcelona arrived at the penalty shoot-out after a 1-1 draw in the regular time and two periods of extra time which failed to produce a winner.

Atletico’s goalkeeper, Hedvig Lindahl was phenomenal in saving shots during the game, and she also stopped one penalty to send her club to the Super Cup grand finale.

Atletico will play the final against Levante UD on Saturday, January 16 at 8:45 p.m.

Romanian goalkeeper Andreea Părăluță helped Levante UD to qualify for Spain’s Super Cup grand final after beating EDF Logroño 3-1

A total of five of our players featured in this semi-final match on both sides fighting for a grand final ticket for their club.

Levante’s Andreea played the full encounter and helped her side with success as they won 3-1. On the other side, Equatorial Guinea’s Jade Boho started and found the back of the net for her team at the 28th minute. Ivory Coast’s Rebecca Elloh also played for 83 minutes before being replaced by South African Nothando Vilakazi, while Ivorian Ida Guehai saw the last 25 minutes of the match for Logroño.

Levante UD will face the winner between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid Saturday in Almeria.

Sofie Junge Pedersen and Linda Sembrant won a second consecutive Italian Super Cup trophy with Juventus

On Sunday at the Aldo Gastaldi stadium in Chiavari, with the same score and the same opponent as last season, Juventus of Linda and Sofie have kept the Super Cup trophy.

Juventus won their first 2021 trophy after downing Fiorentina in the final (2-0) to lift their second consecutive title.

Two LTA players have participated in this historic achievement. Sofie played the full final and was a substitute in the semis while Linda was an unused substitute in the final but actively defended in the semis during 90 full minutes + 30 minutes extra time.

Sofie Junge Pedersen and Linda Sembrant helped Juventus to beat Roma 2-1 to reach the Italian Women’s Super Cup Final

The Swedish defender Sembrant played the full semi-final match while Denmark midfielder Sofie came in as a substitute at the 65th minute to register the club’s first victory of 2021.

In the final, Juventus ( defending champion) will face their last edition opponent, Fiorentina that they had dethroned in the 2019/20 final with a 2-0 home victory.

Our players will both play their second Super Cup final. In last season’s final, Sofie and sembrant played the entire game.

The final will be held this Sunday,  January 10 at 12.30 Am at Chiavari Municipal Stadium.

LTA Agency est heureuse d’annoncer la signature d’un nouvel accord de représentation avec Aissata Traoré milieu de terrain du Mali et de l’En Avant Guingamp

L’internationale de 23 ans joue en Division 1 féminine avec  Guingamp depuis 2019. Aissata a marqué deux buts en Coupe de France 2020, permettant à l’En Avant d’atteindre la demi- finale, son meilleur parcours. Guingamp est son deuxième club a l’étranger après Besiktas-Istanbul. En Turquie, Aïssata Traoré a mené le club stambouliote au titre de champion, en inscrivant la bagatelle de 8 buts en 9 apparitions.  
L’ancienne joueuse des Super Lionnes d’Hamdallaye est une joueuse  incontournable de l’équipe nationale féminine du Mali qu’elle a aidé à atteindre  les demi-finales de la CAN 2018, elle a aussi joué les éliminatoires des J.O de Tokyo.

Cameroon star Ajara Nchout Njoya has signed a deal with the Spanish powerhouse Atlético de Madrid

The 27-year-old forward joined the Spain Primera division from a successful 3-season spell in Norway’s first division (Toppserien). In two seasons with Vålerenga, the striker recorded a total of 30 goals in 50 games. She bagged the top scorer title of the Norwegian league with 10 goals for Vålerenga in the recently-ended 2020 campaign helping the club to win their maiden domestic League and Cup double. She firstly spent a season with IL Sandviken where she was also the club’s top scorer. Remarkably, Ajara reached three Cup finals in her 3 years in Norway.

It is a big leap forward for the ”Indomitable lioness“ to one of the leading European clubs. At 27 years old, Ajara Nchout Njoya made history as the first-ever Cameroonian female player to join a historic big European club such as Atlético de Madrid – Spanish League champions three times in a row between 2017 and 2019 and runners-up last season.

Ajara’s Spain experience will expand her impressive professional career to a fifth foreign championship after Norway, Sweden, Russia, and the United States.

LTA Agency manager Anton Maksimov said: ‘It’s a huge achievement for a Foumban native like Ajara. I remember vividly meeting her in 2008 in Douala as a young girl aspiring to play professional football one day. She has gone a long way and worked very hard to arrive at where she is now.’

With 50 caps and 10 goals to her credit, Ajara played for Cameroon National Team in the final tournaments of two FIFA Women’s World Cups – France 2019 and Canada 2015, the London 2012 Olympic Games, and many other high-level international competitions. Ajara scored one of the best goals of the France 2019 World Cup later nominated by FIFA for the 2019 Puskas Award, and last year was named among the three finalists for the 2019 CAF Best Female Player of the Year Award.
