Sweden won Algarve cup
Sweden's players represented by LTA Agency, Hedvig Lindahl, Linda Sembrant, and Emma Berglund have won the 2022 Algarve Women's Cup
Hosted in Portugal, the 28th edition of the Algarve Cup had five participants Sweden, Italy, Norway, Portugal, and Denmark. It took place from 16 to 23 February 2022.
Goalkeeper Hedvig Lindahl and defender Emma played the full final and each scored a penalty as Sweden edged Italy 6-5 on sudden-death penalties after the teams were deadlocked at 1-1 in the Algarve Cup Final. Sweden won their fifth Algarve Cup title.
Norway won the third-place play-off 2-0 against Portugal.
