Léonie Fleury renouvelle avec le Servette FCCF

La jeune attaquante française Léonie Fleury a prolongé son contrat pour une saison supplémentaire avec le Servette FCCF de Ligue nationale A de Suisse

Léonie connaît une première saison réussite avec le Servette FCCF qu’elle a rejoint en mai 2019 en provenance de Rodez Aveyron en France.

Auteure de 12 buts cette saison, elle est la meilleure buteuse du club et aide les servettiennes à se qualifier pour la Ligue des Champions prochaine. Avant l’arrêt du championnat à cause de la pandémie du COVID-19, le club était en tête du classement et qualifié pour les demi-finales de la Coupe de Suisse. L’Association Suisse de Football (ASF) a décidé d’annuler l’ensemble des compétitions pour la saison 2019-2020 et a confirmé la présence du Servette FCCF à Ligue des Champions de l’UEFA 2020-2021.

Ştefania Vătafu has re-signed with RSC Anderlecht of Belgium’s Women Super League

The 26-year-old midfielder has made 43 appearances in all competitions for Anderlecht, scoring eight goals after joining the club from Spanish side UDG Tenerife in 2018.

The Romanian playmaker has had two successful seasons with the club as they won their third championship trophy in a row this season and their first-ever historic BeNe Cup trophy.

She has earned an impressive 66 caps and scored 20 goals for Romania Women’s National Team so far.

Léonie Fleury fait ses débuts au sein d’Us Annecy-le-Vieux. Cinq années plus tard, elle intègre le centre de formation de l’AS Saint-Etienne où elle joue son premier match professionnel à 16 ans.

Passée ensuite par l’ASJ Soyaux et Rodez, elle dispute au total 45 matches de Division 1 avec quatre réalisations. La demi-finaliste de la Coupe de France 2012/13 a aussi joué avec l’équipe de France des moins de 19 ans.

En mai 2019, Léonie rejoint le Servette FCCF et signe une saison très convaincante. Avec 12 buts, elle est la meilleure buteuse du club et troisième meilleure buteuse de la Ligue nationale A (suisse) aidant ainsi Servette FCCF à reste leader du championnat.

La jeune attaquante peut également évoluer sur le milieu gauche.

The 24-year-old striker has spent her entire professional career in Italy, where she started in the youth ranks at Padova and has since 2018 played for Sassuolo.

She made 36 Serie A appearances and scores 13 goals for Sassuolo. At international level, she played for Italy with Under-23 National Team.

Romanian duo Laura Rus and Ştefania Vatafu have won the 2019-2020 Belgian league title with RSC Anderlecht

The experienced striker Laura joined Anderlecht in 2019 from the Italian club Hellas Verona and her compatriot Ştefania joined the club one year before her in 2018.

Before the COVID-19 pandemic, Anderlecht was dominating the Women Super League with 44 out of 48 points and did not lose any single game in 16 played.
The Royal Belgian Football Association has decided that all youth and amateur competitions would not be finished this season. This also means there would be no more women’s football this year. Therefore, Anderlecht become Champions for the third year in a row.

Anderlecht also won the BeNe Cup this season. On January 11th, the Belgian champions faced FC Twente the Netherlands champions for the BeNe Cup title. Laura scored the first goal of the encounter as Anderlecht won 3-2 to clinch their first ever BeNe Cup.

Juventus’ midfielder since 2018, she already counts a Serie A and two Cup titles among her achievements in Italy. Sofie joined the Turin-based club from Swedish outfit Vittsjö. She won the Damallsvenskan and Svenska Cupen in 2015 with FC Rosengård. She also won the league in her home country in 2013/14 with Fortuna Hjørring. She played in Spanish Liga Iberdrola with Levante UD.

The 28-year-old has 59 international caps and 4 goals for Denmark since making her debut in 2011. She featured in the final of UEFA Women’s Euro 2017 against the Netherlands.

Aivi Luik has added another National Championship trophy to the brilliant collection of achievements of her football career. The 35-year-old Westfield Matildas star was crowned Westfield W-League champion for the fifth time on Saturday, earning four of the titles with Melbourne City FC.

Aivi played the entire match as Melbourne City beat Sydney FC 1-0 in the Westfield W-League 2020 Grand Final to claim their fourth championship title.

The international midfielder joined the home side from Avaldsnes in Norway’s Toppserien. With her consistency, leadership and experience, she was a big help for the club as since her arrival she had played 90 minutes in all of the Melbourne City’s remaining games including the final.

After winning the Regular Season Premiership, Melbourne City has capped a remarkable undefeated campaign with a Grand Final win on Saturday.

LTA Agency are delighted to announce that Russian international goalkeeper Ekaterina Ulasevich has renewed her contract with the agency.

Ekaterina started her football career in the season 2009/10 with Zvezda Zvenigorod playing in the Russian Women’s Football Championship. A year later, for the season 2011/12, she moved to another russian club – Mordovochka Saransk. In 2013 she continued playing in the Russian Women’s Football Championship on the side of WFC Rossiyanka.

During 2014/2015, Ekaterina joined Ryazan VDV. After leaving Ryazan VDV, she moved to the prestigious Turkish League playing for the Istanbul teams Beşiktaş J.K. in 2016/2017 and Ahmed S.K in 2018 /2019.

Ekaterina also has experience in romanian football since she has played for Olimpia Cluj but her stay there was not long enough since she has played there only a few matches. Now after leaving Amed S.K. and the Turkish League, Ekaterina is back to her homeland Russia and currently, she is playing for the russian club Yenisey.

Australia Women’s National team have qualified to the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games after beating Vietnam.

Melbourne City midfielder Aivi Luik was part of the Westfield Matildas squad who beat Vietnam 7 – 1 on aggregate to secure an automatic slot to the next Women’s Olympic Football Tournament.

In the first leg of their playoff at home, Australia crushed Vietnam 5-0. On Wednesday they won 2-1 in the second leg in Vietnam to confirm their fourth Final Tournament appearance in the Olympic Games following their 2000, 2004, and 2016 campaigns.

Congratulations to Aivi who has a chance to make a debut at the Olympics following her debut at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France.

Barbra Banda and Margaret Belemu made history with Zambia Women’s National team who have qualified for their maiden Women’s Olympic Football Tournament

The Copper Queens sealed their spot at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games after they edged Cameroon with a 2-1 win in a return leg at home yesterday.

Zambians went down 2-3 in the first leg in Yaounde last week. Cameroon captain Gabrielle Aboudi Onguene’s two goals along with Ajara Nchout’s strike and an assist help the Indomitable Lionesses to a come-from-behind victory.

Yesterday in Lusaka, Zambia defeated Cameroon 2-1 with Ajara scoring her side’s only goal and Barbra making a brilliant assist on Zambia’s winning goal. With the result, the two teams were tied at 4-4 on aggregate, but Zambia went through thanks to the away goals rule having scored 2 goals in Cameroon.

Cameroon still have a chance to qualify via intercontinental play-off against Chile on 9 and 15 April to have a possible return to the Olympics after their debut in 2012.

LTA were represented by a number of players on both sides, as Barbra and Margaret completed full matches for Zambia as they faced Ajara Nchout, Gabrielle Aboudi, Geneviève Ngo Mbeleck, and Augustine Ejangue from Cameroon.
