Irene Paredes and Gabrielle Aboudi Onguéné are our players who have been shortlisted for the FIFA FIFPro Women’s World XI for 2021

Voted for by professional footballers across the globe, the FIFPRO World XI celebrates the world’s finest footballers at the end of each calendar year.

We have the privilege each year to have talented players represented by us, nominated in the selection list of FIFA FIFPro Women’s World XI. Two of them have already made the final XI: Sweden goalkeeper Hedvig Lindahl and Spain defender Irene Paredes.

FC Barcelona’s Irene Paredes is again among the two LTA players in the 23-strong preliminary list.

It continues the 30-year-old defender’s superb year, with Irene also having been named 2020/21 Women’s Champions League Defender of the season and nominated the top ten list of UEFA Women’s Player of the Year nominees. Irene who was named in the 2017 FIFPRO World XI and has already been nominated many times, remains one of the world’s finest defenders.

Cameroon Striker Gabrielle Onguene, who plays for Russian premier league giants CSKA Moscow, has made the 23-player shortlist for the FIFPro Women’s World XI for the first time.
The 32-year-old has enjoyed a wonderful 2021, helping her club to end Runner-up of the league and cup in her fifth season at the club. Indomitable lionesses Captain, Aboudi lead her country to the last AWCON 2022 qualification round.

The final XI will be announced on Monday 17 January 2022 during the ceremony of The Best FIFA Football Awards

La milieu de terrain malienne Saratou Traoré a signé son premier contrat professionnel avec Fatih Karagümrük SK de la Super Lig, (D1 turque)

La jeune joueuse de 19 ans provient des Super Lionnes d’Hamdalaye dans son pays natale ou elle a remporté la coupe du Mali lors de la saison 2020-21 et terminée finaliste du championnat.

Internationale U20 avec le Mali, Saratou a déjà fait ses débuts avec l’équipe nationale senior et compte deux sélections.

Banda wins bronze

Barbra Banda finished in third place in the China Women’s Super League with Shanghai Shengli

Zambia international striker has helped her club to end the 2021 Women’s Super League in the third position to win the bronze medal.

Shanghai Shengli picked up the bronze medal, beating Guangdong Meizhou Hakka 2-1 in the final.

Banda was influential once again in the 2021 campaign with Shanghai Shengli. Although the star forward only played seven games, she scored important goals. A brace in the 3-0 win over Zhejiang Hangzhou and the winner in the 1-0 triumph over Shandong Ticai: either four goals netted in total.
Banda was the leading goalscorer last season, netting 18 goals thank to which the team also ended third in the 2020 season.

Zambia captain Banda has already earned 37 caps for the National team that will face Namibia in the two-legged tie in February in the final round of qualifying for the AWCON.

Bassira Touré et Rita Akaffou rejoignent le Fatih Karagümrük SK

Sous les couleurs du Fatih Karagümrük, l’attaquante malienne Bassira Touré et la milieu de terrain ivoirienne Rita Akaffou vont découvrir la Turquie.

Bassira vient de AS Mandé club avec lequel elle a joué L’inaugural Ligue des champions féminine de la CAF 2021. Elle a aussi joué avec ALG Spor (Turquie), FC Kiryat Gat (Israel) et Málaga (Espagne). Bassira a déjà été sélectionnée plusieurs fois avec “Les Aiglonnes” L’équipe féminine du Mali de Football.


Nouveau défi pour la milieu de terrain ivoirienne. Après quatre saisons passées en Chypre avec le Pyrgos Limassol et Barcelona FA, Rita Akaffou est rentrée a Juventus De Yopougon le club ou elle évoluait avant la signature de son premier contrat professionnel à Gintra-Universitetas (Lituanie). Rita aussi a déjà représenté les Éléphantes de Cote d’ivoire a plusieurs reprise a de nombreuses compétitions internationales.

La défenseure ivoirienne Kpaho Zote Nina âgé de 25 ans, en provenance de Juventus de Yopougon c’est engagée avec le club turc d’ Istanbul Fenerbahçe SK

Fenerbahçe c’est un grand club de football de première division le second le plus titré de Turquie qui vient de lancer la section féminine.

La signature de Kpaho Zote est le tout premier transfert international dans l’histoire du Fenerbahçe féminin.

Kpaho Zote est une défenseure expérimentée qui est passé par le FC Minsk et le FC Nemanh en Biélorussie elle a aussi joué en France avec le Saint-Denis. Elle a également représenté l’équipe nationale de Côte d’Ivoire féminine a plusieurs reprises.

La directrice de la section féminine du Fenerbahçe, Jessica O’Rourke-Carmikli est une ancienne joueuse professionnelle que LTA Agency avait représenté pendant sa carrière et nous sommes ravis de son poste dans le club.

LTA Agency was present to the first ever edition of TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League through three of their players and a player agent

The 2021 CAF Women’s Champions League is the first edition of the most important African inter-club women’s football competition.
Created last year by the African Football Confederation (CAF), the tournament was held in Cairo – Egypt from November 5 to 19 with eight teams split into two groups. Clubs from Egypt, Mali, Equatorial Guinea, Ghana, South Africa, Nigeria, Morocco, and Kenya have competed in this inaugural tournament, with the top two in each group advancing to the semi-finals.

LTA was represented by two midfielders Jentrix Shikangwa and Christine Nafula of @Vihigaqueens and also a striker Bassira Touré from AS Mandé. Our Director and player agent Anton Maksimov moved especially for this historic occasion of women’s football in Africa. A tournament that will henceforth bring greater visibility for women’s football. This important competition will also help local clubs to be known and reveal the hidden talents of those different clubs.

The results were as follows: Champions Mamelodi Sundowns; Runner-up Hasaacas Ladies and Third AS FAR.

Gabrielle Aboudi Onguéné prolonge avec le CSKA MOSCOU

L’internationale camerounaise Aboudi Onguene poursuivra son aventure avec le CSK Moscou après cinq saisons au cours desquelles elle a remporté à deux reprises le championnat de Russie (en 2020 et 2019), une coupe de Russie en 2017 et une Super Coupe cette saison en cours.

Le nouveau bail de la capitaine des lionnes indomptables avec le club de première division Russe s’étend jusqu’en 2023.

La titulaire du dossard numéro 7, Aboudi compte déjà 11 buts en 30 matches (championnat et coupe), et occupe actuellement la deuxième place des meilleures buteuses de la ligue et son club aussi actuellement classé en deuxième position de la ligue.

Au total, elle a disputé 98 matches pour le CSK Moscou et a marqué 36 buts depuis son arrivée en 2017.

LTA Agency are pleased to announce signing a representation agreement with 19-year old Kenya striker Jentrix Shikangwa

Shikangwa started playing football very young in Primary School, and she quickly proved to be a skilled and talented player. The young player started playing for the national team as a 16-year- old and since then she has already earned 14 caps and scored 15 goals for Kenya. Most recently, she scored four goals (brace in each leg) against South Sudan in their 2022 Africa Women Cup of Nations first-round Qualifier. She also has been capped by Kenya at Under-20 level.

Striker of Vihiga Queens in the Kenyan Women’s Premier League, Jentrix has already won the league title three times. She helped her club to book a ticket to represent the CECAFA region in the first-ever edition of the Total Energies CAF Women’s Champions League Egypt 2021. Vihiga won the 2021 CECAFA Club Champions Tournament which served as qualification for the inaugural 2021 CAF Women’s Champions League which will be held later this year. Jentrix scored the winning goal in the final as Vihiga defeated highly rated Ethiopian Champions CBE 2:1. She was consequently named the MVP of the tournament.

At the senior international level, Jentrix made her breakthrough as she won CECAFA Women’s Challenge Cup 2019 with Kenya Women’s National Team and ended up as the Top Scorer of the tournament in the process.

Swedish international defender Emma Berglund won the 2021 Swedish championship ”Damallsvenskan” with FC Rosengård who wrap up his 12th title

This past October 17, 2021, FC Rosengård sealed the Swedish Damallsvenskan title with two games to spare, winning 3-2 at away to Piteå to open up an unassailable seven-point lead over Häcken.

The new champions have dominated the league during the season, having lost only one game out of the 20 already played.

Holder in Rosengård’s centre back defence, Emma made 18 league matches appearance so far, to help FC Rosengård to clinch their 12th league title. A win that ensures FC Rosengård a place in next year’s UEFA Women’s Champions League qualification stage.

The 32-year-old defender moved to FC Rosengård from Kopparbergs Göteborgs FC (now BK Häcken) with whom she won the league last season. This title is her sixth title in Sweden and the second won with Rosengård after the first in 2015.

Aisha Masaka clinched 2021 COSAFA Women’s Championships with Tanzania

The 17-year-old striker has added a new trophy to her achievements after earning two more senior caps with the national team and scoring a goal against Zimbabwe during the tournament held in South Africa.

Tanzania became the winner after the victory over Malawi (1-0) in the final at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday. It is Tanzania Women’s National Team (Twiga Stars) first-ever international trophy outside of their region. They have previously triumphed at COSAFA with the U17 and U20 National Teams. Aisha was part of the Championship winning U-17 side last year as well as the top scorer of the 2020 tournament with 10 goals.

The COSAFA 2021 Championships was held from 28 September to 9 October 2021. Twelve nations were took part: Angola, Botswana, Eswatini, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, South Sudan (guest), Tanzania (guest), Uganda (guest), Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Two players represented by our agency took part – Aisha and Ruth Aturo of Uganda.
