Sofie wins the Italian Cup

Sofie Junge Pedersen has won the 2022–23 Italian Cup with Juventus 

The Danish international midfielder has won her second consecutive Italian Cup title with Juventus and her eighth trophy with the club.

Juventus won the Coppa Italia with a hard-fought victory over Roma in the final to retain the cup. They won 1-0 to claim their third Italian Cup trophy.

The victory gave Sofie her eighth medal at Juventus since joining in 2019. Last season, they won the treble.

Irene Paredes won her first UEFA Women’s Champions League title with FC Barcelona which has completed a treble this season by winning the Liga F and Super Cup in Spain

Standout Spain’s defender has lifted her first European title and was named in the 2022–23 Women’s Champions League Team of the Season.

Irene played the full final in front of a record-breaking crowd at PSV Stadium in Eindhoven, Netherlands, on June 3rd. FC Barcelona came back from a first-half 0-2 down to defeat Wolfsburg 3-2 and lift their second UEFA Women’s Champions League trophy in club history.

It’s FC Barcelona’s second UEFA Women’s Champions League trophy, won after four appearances in the final.

The experienced defender, Irene, was making her third UEFA Women’s Champions League final appearance (two with Barcelona and one with PSG).
 
It’s the third player to work with LTA Agency to win this prestigious title after veteran stars Veronica Boquete (FFC Frankfurt in 2014–15) and Caroline Seger (Lyon in 2016–17).

Coupe UFOA B U20

Alimata Belem et Adèle Naomi Kabré remportent la médaille de bronze avec le Burkina Faso à la première édition la coupe UFOA B U20

Le tournoi de l’Union des Fédérations Ouest-Africaines de football de la zone B (UFOA-B) des moins de 20 ans, s’est déroulé à Accra au Ghana du 20 mai au 3 juin 2023. Cette première édition était composée de des sept pays de la Zone B divisés en deux groupes A et B. Le Burkina Faso faisait partir du groupe B avec le Nigeria, Le Niger et le Togo. Le groupe A était composé du Ghana, Benin et de la Côte d’Ivoire.

La défenseure Alimata Belem de DUX Logroño (Espagne) et la milieu de terrain Adèle Naomi Kabré des Etincelles FC (Burkina Faso) représentées par LTA Agency ont aidé le Burkina Faso a terminer à la troisième place de ce tournoi sous régional.

Alimata capitaine de l’équipe et sa coéquipière Adèle (dossard 15) ont joué tous les matchs. Alimata a marqué le deuxième but de leur match d’ouverture contre le Togo (2 – 0) et a remporté le trophée de la « Femme du Match ». Adèle quant à elle a réalisé un triplé lors du second match dans lequel elles ont rossé le Niger (8 – 0). Adèle a été élue Femme du match et grâce à la victoire contre le Niger, elles se sont qualifiées pour les demi-finales.

Elles ont perdu leur 3e et dernier match de poule face au Nigeria (0 – 3) et celui de la demi-finale contre le Ghana (1-3). Le vainqueur de cette première édition était le Ghana et le Burkina Faso a battu le Benin 2-1 grâce à un doublé d’Adèle pour remporter la troisième place de la compétion.

La Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) a effectué le tirage au sort des qualifications pour les Jeux Olympiques de Paris 2024 le mardi 30 mai 2023 au Caire, en Egypte

Ces qualifications, qui permettront, au terme de 4 tours, de déterminer les deux représentants africains pour les JO 2024 débuteront le 10 juillet prochain et s’étendront jusqu’en avril 2024.

Le premier tour est composé de 18 équipes, tandis que les sept (7) équipes les mieux classées lors de la dernière Coupe d’Afrique des Nations féminine (CAN) seront exemptées de ces préliminaires. Cela concerne l’Afrique du Sud, le Maroc, la Zambie, le Nigéria, le Cameroun, la Tunisie et le Botswana qui feront leur entrée dans la compétition au second tour.

Jentrix Shikangwa claims Tanzania Women’s Premier League Golden Boot as Simba Queens finish second in the league

Simba Queen striker Jentrix Shikangwa finished in the top goalscorer spot with 17 goals to her name in 16 league appearances in the 2022–23 campaign.

The 21-year-old Kenyan international joined Simba in September last year from Turkish top-flight side Fatih Karagumruk.

The league in Tanzania started in August. Despite joining the league a month after its began, Jentrix has managed a quadruple, a hat-trick, and many doubles among the 17 goals scored to help her club place second in the league.

Jentrix Shikangwa scored on her debut for Simba Queens in a 1-1 draw against Baobab Queens. She has also scored four goals for Simba Queens in a match against Alliance Girls giving her side a wide victory (4-0). The striker has been named the Player of the Month for March in the Tanzania Women Premier League and received a price.

The Danish midfielder Sofie Junge Pedersen helped Juventus end their 2022–23 Serie A season with a 5-2 win over Roma at home, Juventus have thus sealed their spot at the upcoming UEFA Women’s Champions League as runners-up in Italy’s Serie A

The Serie A finalists have ended their campaign with a 5-2 victory against Roma (the champions). Sofie scored the game’s final goal against Roma; it was her second goal in 19 league games played this season for Juventus.

They will face the same opponents again in the Italian Cup final next Sunday, June 4.

Isis Sonkeng, Cynthia Shilwatso and Mahira Ali have finished the 2022-2023 Ukrainian Super League season in the second position, winning the silver medal with FC Kryvbas

FC Kryvbas has been crowned runner-up of the 2022-2023 Ukrainian championship with help of three players represented by LTA Agency. The Egyptian midfielder Mahira Ali and Kenyan striker Cynthia Shilwatso who have recently joined the club as well as Cameroonian defender Isis Sonkeng who is playing in the club since last season.

Kyrvbas have ended the season as the league second and the semi finalist of the Ukrainian Cup. In the previous season, the club was third in the league.

Sonkeng played a key part in Krivbas’ Premier League second-spot finish. She has featured in all league matches (except one) and scored five goals across the campaign as she established herself as an unavoidable member of the Krivbas’defense. She was also involved in one cup goal and played all cup games to help her club achieve this result.

Shilwatso splayed two league games and scored a hat trick in her first match with the club. Mahira has only played one game and notched a goal in her debut. They still have one match to play against Pantery to end the season.

Barcelona have maintained their dominance in the women’s game once more in Spain. They only registered one defeat and one draw in 30 league games played on their path to the trophy this season. Barcelona was proclaimed Spanish champion for the fourth straight time after their 3-0 win over Sporting Huelva at home on Sunday, April 30.

Spain defender Irene Paredes featured in 26 league games and scored two goals to help her club secure that new title, which is their eighth overall. It is Irene’s third Spanish League title over all.

Irene and her club now focus on the UEFA Women’s Champions League final that they will play against Wolfsburg next June 3rd in hopes of achieving a double.

Egyptian midfielder Mahira Ali scored a goal on her FC Kryvbas debut against FC Mariupol in the Ukrainian League yesterday

Mahira scored a stunning goal to help FC Kryvbas defeat FC Mariupol 6–0 at home in their last but one league match on Saturday.

Mahira, who signed a deal with Kyvbas last March, joined the club on Thursday from the Egyptian Premier League Wadi Degla, the internatonal midfielder has please her new club by scoring in her first appearance. She scored the final goal of the game, raising the final score to 6-0. The final and upcoming league match for FC Kryvbas will take place away against Pantery on Friday.

We are pleased to announce that South African international midfielder Leandra Smeda has signed new representation deal with LTA Agency

Cape Town star Leandra currently plays with Dux Logroño in the second tier of Spanish football. She is an experienced player who has already played football in Sweden, Portugal, Lithuania, as well as in her country. 

The veteran football star Leandra Smeda has featured for South Africa in numerous top international competitions; between them, we can count her participation at the Olympic Games in Brazil, the 2019 FIFA Women World Cup in France, four Women African Cup of Nations attendances, and many others.

Leandra made history in August 2018 by becoming the first South African to score in the European Women’s Champions League when she netted for Gintra-Universitas against Finland’s Espoo Honka.
