Kenya midfielder Cynthia Shilwatso has signed a deal with Spanish second division side EDF Logroño B

Shilwatso, 21, comes from the reigning Kenya Women’s Premier League (KWPL) champions, Vihiga Queens with whom she bagged three successive premier league titles 2017, 2018, and 2019.

Since her debut at senior level in 2017, she becomes a constant feature in both: the Under 20 and the Kenya Women National team. Shilwatso scored her first goal in a friendly match against Jordan on 31st August 2017 in a 2-1 win she had netted both goals for Harambee Starlets. The scintillating midfielder has more than 21 caps and has 12 goals scored for Kenya national team.

The Spanish outfit confirmed via a tweet that the young forward will be training with the first team this season.

Après sa deuxième participation consécutive aux huitièmes de finale de la Coupe du Monde de la FIFA, en 2019 en France, Aboudi conduis ses coéquipières au dernier tour éliminatoire des Jeux Olympiques de Tokyo 2020 ou elles devrons faire face aux chiliennes pour enfin valider leur pass définitif a ce tournoi. Elle a joué aux Jeux olympiques d’été de 2012 à Londres.

La double médaillée de bronze de la CAN 2018 et 2016 a été élue meilleure joueuse de la CAN féminine en 2016 et dès lors, elle figure chaque année dans la liste des nominée de la Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) dans la catégorie joueuse féminine de l’année.

L’attaquante que nous avons récemment transférée à EDF Logroño en première division espagnole a commencé à jouer au football dans son pays natal. En 2015, Elloh quitte le championnat ivoirien avec deux titres de championne en poche et une coupe remportée avant d’entamer sa carrière internationale. Elle a joué pour le Gintra-Universitetas en Lituanie, le FF Chênois Genève en Suisse et le Pyrgos Limassol en Chypre avant de rejoindre son actuel club EDF Logroño.

Elloh a remporté le championnat lituanien en 2015, en Chypre elle a aussi gagné le championnat en 2018, la Coupe et la super Coupe en 2019.

Rapide et technique, la talentueuse attaquante est une joueuse clé de l’Équipe nationale de la Côte d’Ivoire avec laquelle elle n’a pas moins de 30 sélections. Elloh a participé au mondial en 2015 au Canada, à la coupe d’Afrique des nations en 2014 et plusieurs autres tournois internationaux.

Raissa, 24, currently plays in the Spanish outfit UDG Tenerife in the Spanish First Division.

Her career in Europe started in Turkey where she played for Trabzon Idamanocagi in the Turkish Women´s First League during the 2013/14 season.

In 2015 she moved to Finland and spent one season playing for Merilappi United in the Finnish top flight before joining rivals Åland United for two more years.

In 2018 Raissa became a member of UDG Tenerife choosing Spain as her future destination. As of now, she has made 18 league appearances with the Spanish team.

Raissa is a key member of the Cameroonian National Team for whom she has played a number of international competitions including the final tournaments of the 2012 London Summer Olympic Games, and the FIFA Women’s World Cups Canada 2015 and France 2019.

Barbra Banda impressed yesterday in her first ever Chinese Women’s Super League (CWSL) match as she scored a goal and assisted twice while leading Shanghai Shengli to a 5-0 win against Zhejiang Hangzhou

Banda had an amazing start in China with her new side scoring the opener in a 5-0 emphatic Shanghai victory in their first game of the 2020 season. The Zambian striker showed her quality in the Chinese league as she did two years ago in Spain with EDF Logroño where she played before joining Shanghai earlier this year. She had also managed to bag a goal on her maiden appearance in Liga Iberdrola as Logroño won 2-0 over Sporting Huelva.

Her new club Shengli were runners-up in the 2019 CWSL, eight points behind the champions. They will battle Henan Jianye in their next Chinese top flight fixture on August 26.

Paris St-Germain’s Irene Paredes and Signe Bruun are through to the UEFA Women’s Champions League last-four courtesy a victory over Arsenal

PSG sent out of the competition the only English club still in. They took down Arsenal 2-1 yesterday in their quarter-final clash to book their semi-final ticket.

Irene and Bruun were spectacular for PSG in that qualification. Captain Irene played the full match, up to the 77th minute the score was a draw (1-1) when Bruun came in as a substitute. She netted the second goal just three minutes after she came in the pitch to send her side to the UWCL semi-final for their fourth time in the history.

They will face Lyon next Wednesday for the 2019/20 last-four of UEFA Women’s Champions League. Prior to PSG, the Danish forward Bruun had already taken part in UWCL but never reach this level of the competition and the Spain defender Irene would play her second semi-final with PSG.

Claudia, 23, started her youth career back in 2010 in the Italian club Ženský-Padua (2010-2015) after that the club decided to change its name to Padova. (2015-2018)

She is one of the most popular feminine Italian strikers Under-23 national team who has spent most of her career in Italy.

In 2018 she decided to make a new step and continued her professional career selecting the Italian outfit US Sassuolo with which she is currently playing in the prestigious Serie A in Italy.

Now, Claudia decides to move on straying in her current team signing a 2-year contract deal.

Currently, she has made 36 appearances with the team and scored 13 goals.

International midfielder and Banyana Banyana vice-captain Refiloe Jane has extended her contract with Italian Serie A side AC Milan

Refiloe (28) joined AC Milan last season from Canberra United in Australia’s W-League and thus became the first South African woman to play in an Italian top-flight. She has quickly become a key part of AC Milan team.

After impressing in the 15 games she played, netting two goals before the campaign was suspended in March, she has now re-signed with the Italian’s club a new contract that will keep her to AC Milan.

The midfield maestro, who counts not less than 109 appearances and 12 goals scored for South Africa, has represented her country in multiple high international competitions. She was part of the Banyana Banyana squad that reached the final of the 2018 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Ghana as well as playing at the 2019 World Cup in France. She represented South Africa at the 2012 London Olympics as well as the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Le Paris Saint-Germain accède à la finale de cette Coupe grâce aux réalisations d’Irene et Signe qui, ont respectivement marqué à la 55eme et 84eme minutes éliminant ainsi Bordeaux de la compétition par 2 buts à 1.

Après s’être imposées en demi-finale face aux Bordelaises, les Parisiennes ont fait face aux lyonnaises dimanche 9 août en finale de la Coupe de France sur la pelouse d’Auxerre devant 4500 spectateurs. Après 90 minutes de jeux sans buts, Paris perd après la séance de tirs au but 3-4. La capitaine Irene Paredes a joué tout le match complet et Signe est entrée en tant que remplaçante.

Après voir raté ce trophée, Irene et Signe ont maintenant le regard tourné vers leur prochain rendez-vous à Saint-Sébastien contre Arsenal en quart de finale de la Ligue des champions le 22 août prochain.
