Ajara scores on her Al Qadsiah debut

Ajara has made an impressive debut in the Arabian Premier League. The Cameroonian forward scored a goal on her first appearance with Al Qadsiah FC

Ajara has quickly adapted to her new club and has showcased her skills in the Arabian Premier League. In her first match for Al Qadsiah FC, she came on as a substitute in the second half and managed to score the only goal that secured her team’s victory. Al Qadsiah FC defeated Ittihad Bassioun 1-0 away.

Egyptian international Mahira Ali has marked her comeback in the Egyptian top flight on a high note.

The talented midfielder recently signed with Tutankhamun FC from FC Kryvbas (Ukraine), and she wasted no time in making an impact on the pitch.

In her first match for her new club, she scored three goals to help Tutankhamun smashed Ittihad Bassioun 11-0 at home.

Cameroon international striker Nchout Ajara Njoya has signed in Saudi Arabia with Al Qadsiah Women’s Sports Club

Former Inter Milan striker Ajara Njoya has joined Saudi Arabian side Al Qadsiah FC. That is the seventh country where she brings her football skills.

Ajara, who previously had spells with Vålerenga and Sandviken, scored ten goals in 44 appearances for Inter, whom she joined from the Spanish side Atlético Madrid in 2021.

Ajara who was nominated for CAF Awards 2023 in Category Player of the Year has a lot of experiences with  Indomitable Lionesses. She scored a goal to help Cameroon qualify for the third Round of the Olympic Qualifiers with a victory (3-2 on aggregate) over Uganda.

She has appeared in two FIFA Women’s World Cups (2015 and 2019) with Cameroon, helping the team advance to the Round of 16 in 2019 as she scored her team’s only two goals in the group stage. She also featured in four Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (2014, 2016, 2018, 2022), helping the team to second place in both the 2014 and 2016 tournaments and third place in 2018.

Mahira Ali signed a contract with a top Egyptian outfit Tutankhamun FC

The Egyptian midfielder is back at home after helping Kryvbas finish the 2022-2023 season in the second position and reach the Ukrainian Cup semi-final in 2023. She played her first ever UEFA Champions League matches with Kryvbas that she help to reached the round of 16.

Prior to Kryvbas, she played for Wadi Degla, El Gouna, and Aimz Egypt. The international midfielder also played in Canada for the Oakville Blue Devils.

Irene Paredes has lifted a third consecutive Spain Super Cup title with FC Barcelona

FC Barcelona won their fourth Spanish Super Cup on Saturday after crushing Levante (7-0) in the final.

Irene played the final’s first half to help Barcelona retain the Women’s Spanish Super Cup for the third time in a row.
 
The Spain international defender joined Barcelona in June 2021; they earned their first Super Cup title in 2020. Since joining the club, she has already helped win three Super Cup titles (2022, 2023, and 2024).

Harambee Starlets striker Jentrix Shikangwa has returned to Simba Queens FC of Tanzanian Serengeti Women’s Premier League

Jentrix rejoins Simba after a six-month stint with China’s Super League side, Beijing Beikong Women Football Club.
Jentrix, 22, is a prolific goalscorer who has a proven track record of success in the Tanzanian league. Last season, before signing with Beijing Beikong, the Kenyan international scored 17 goals in 16 matches for Simba. She won the Golden Boot while her team finished runner-up in the league, and she also bagged the Player of the Season prize.

Augustine Ejangue was appointed team manager of the Cameroon women’s national team

Former player of the women’s national team, Augustine Ejangue, was named team manager of the Indomitable Lionesses by the Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT) president, Samuel Eto’o.

Ejangue is a veteran defender who competed internationally for the Cameroon women’s national team, where she served as co-captain.

She has represented Cameroon at the 2012 Summer Olympics and the 2015 World Cup. She also participated in three African Cups of Nations, reaching the final twice in 2014 and 2016, and finishing in third place in 2018.

Currently playing for FC Kryvbas in Ukraine’s first division, Ejangue has played in Russia, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Spain, and eventually in Cameroon.

For this new challenge, Augustine Ejangue Siliki brings her experience, determination, and leadership to the management of the national team.

Barbra Banda and Refiloe Jane have made it to the CAF FIFPRO team of 2023, the new Africa award for leading women players inaugurated this year.

Two players represented by LTA Agency were named in the CAF/FIFPRO Women’s Best XI. Captains of their respective countries Women’s National Team, Zambian forward Barbra Banda and South African midfielder Refiloe Jane feature in Africa Best XI for the 2023 season.

Both players were also nominated for the CAF Women’s Player of the Year Awards; Banda was one of the final three nominees for this prestigious prize.

Despite not winning the CAF Award they were competing for, two of our players had the honor of being included in the inaugural CAF-FIFPRO Africa Women’s XI.

Africa Best XI for women players was announced by FIFPRO Africa at the CAF Awards ceremony in Marrakech, Morocco on 11 December 2023.

Aivi Luik has extended her contract with BK Häcken until 2024

Australian international midfielder will remain at BK Häcken until at least 2024, having extended her contract for a year with the Swedish first-division club.

Aivi joined BK Häcken from Pomigliano (Italy) in July 2022 and has quickly gone on to become a team-key player in the midfield due to her experience and ability. She played nine league games during the first season, helping the club to the league second place. This season, she has featured in 20 of the 26 league games for the club, which ended runner-up in the table and won silver in the Swedish Cup.

The experienced midfielder is helping her team to the Champions League matches. BK Häcken’s 0-0 draw against Chelsea, where she played 90 minutes on Friday, has kept the side on top of Group D of the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

Born in Bocsa Laura Rus, 36, is one of the most important players in the history of Romania’s women’s national team. She has many achievements in football.

Well known as ”Lala”, the forward represented her nation for 19 years, earning 140 national team caps and being considered one of the top three scorers.

The UEFA Women’s Nations League match against Croatia was Lala’s last national team game. She wore the captain’s armband and left the field in the 74th minute, to the applause of the fans present in the stadium.
