Jane signs with Sassuolo

South Africa international midfielder Refiloe Jane has inked a contract with Sassuolo until 2024

Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Champion, Refiloe signed for Sassuolo on a two-year deal to remain in Serie A after three seasons spent with AC Milan.

She became the first female player of her country to be transferred to a Serie A top club in September 2019 when she completed her move to AC Milan. During her stay with the Rossonere, she has played 52 games across all competitions, scoring 3 goals, helping the Serie A top flight to a second-place finish in the 2020/21 season and a third place finish in the other two seasons.

Prior to Italy she played in Australian W-League with Canberra United and other domestic sides, Mamelodi Sundowns and Vaal University of Technology.

Considered as one of the best midfielders in the South Africa Women’s National team, she has a lot of international experience with more than 110 caps.

Refiloe captained the Banyana Banyana squad that won the maiden Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Trophy in Morocco last month. She also reached the final of the 2018 Africa Cup of Nations held in Ghana. She played at the 2019 World Cup in France, first ever appearance for her country.

She has also featured at the 2014 African Women’s Championship in Namibia, the 2016 and 2012 Olympics games as well the 2012 African Women’s Championship where South Africa also reached the final and took part in multiple other international competitions.

Claudia Ferrato has penned a contract with Italy’s Serie B outfit side Chievo Verona FM

The 25-year old triker comes from US Sassuolo with which she spent the last four seasons in Serie A. She played a total of 57 league matches with Sassuolo and scored 15 goals. Claudia started playing football very young at Ženský-Padova, which became Padova some year later.

Dux Logroño striker Olga García signed a new one-year contract until the end of 2022/23

Olga has extended her stay at the club by signing a new contract with the Spanish second division side after the expiration of her previous deal, signed in July 2020.

Having played with clubs such as Atlético Madrid, Barcelona and Levante, Olga’s sporting career is marked by successes and titles. The 30-year-old has already won three league titles, four Copa de la Reina trophies, and five Copa Catalunya trophies. With the Spanish National Team, Olga García won the 2017 Algarve Cup and the 2018 Cyprus Cup. She also played with the under-19 as well.

Jade joins Alhama

Interternal forward Jade Boho has signed a contract with Spanish Primera Division club Alhama CF ElPozo for one season

After a season in Switzerland, The Spanish born Equatoguinean international Jade is back in Spain where she has spent most of her career.

Runner up of AXA Women’s Super League (AWSL) 2021/22 with Servette FC Chênois where she spent a saison, she reached cup semi-final and played in UEFA Women’s Champions League.

Jade started her career in Spain where she has already played with more than five clubs. She won three Spanish championships and a Copa de la Reina.

The bright player has also experienced English football as she completed a stint with Bristol Academy and Reading.

La jeune défenseuse du Burkina Faso Madinatou Rouamba a signé son premier contrat professionnel avec Fatih Karagümrük SK en Turquie

Rouamba est la toute première Burkinabé à signer un accord de représentation avec LTA Agency. Elle est aussi notre sixième joueuse à rejoindre l’équipe turque Fatih Karagümrük SK pour la prochaine saison.

Née à Ouagadougou, la défenseuse centrale Rouamba évoluait jusqu’ici à l’Association Omnisports Étincelle du Faso (AOEF) dans son pays. Elle a remporté le championnat du Burkina Faso en 2019 et la coupe en 2018 et 2021.

La jeune joueuse de 20 ans qui a participé à la récente Coupe d’Afrique des Nations au Maroc compte déjà 14 sélections et un but avec l’équipe nationale en plus d’avoir aussi représenté son pays avec les moins de 20 ans.

Les ivoiriennes Elloh Rebecca et Emmanuella Aby ont signé avec le Deportivo Alavés jusqu’à la fin de la saison 2023-24, club de première division espagnole

Les deux joueuses internationales qui viennent de Dux Logroño se sont engagées en faveur du Deportivo Alavés pour deux saisons.

Âgée de 27 ans, l’attaquante ivoirienne Elloh a passé les deux dernières saisons en Espagne. La saison 2019/20 avec Logroño en première division, elle avait atteint la finale de la coupe. Et la saison dernière avec le club relégué en deuxième division, elle a terminé la saison en tant que meilleure buteuse du club.

La milieu de terrain Aby, 24 ans, a connu sa première expérience en Espagne avec Logroño où elle a passé une saison.

Les deux joueuses ont joué avec Pyrgos Limassol de Chypre avant de rejoindre l’Espagne.

Toutes deux championnes de Côte d’ivoire, elles ont déjà représenté leur pays à plusieurs reprises à des compétitions internationales.

International forward Deborah Salvatori Rinaldi has signed a contract with Ternana in Italian Serie B

Deborah comes from an Italian serie A club, Pomigliano where she spent a season. She played 19 games and scored three goals.

The experienced striker will joins Ternana after a carreer based on clubs as Milan, Florentia, Fiorentina and Espanyol in Spain. Deborah also has a cap with Italy’s senior team.

Sweden international striker Marija Banusic has signed a contract with Serie A side Parma Calcio until 2024

Marija joined Parma who earned promotion to Italy’s top flight last season. She has been playing in Serie A since the 2020–21 season with AS Roma with whom she won the Italian Cup in her first season. Then, she joined Pomigliano, where she scored seven times in 21 Serie A appearances last season to help the newcomer stay in the Italian top flight.

Former player of Montpellier in France, Beijing BG Phoenix FC in China, and Chelsea in England, Marija started her bright career in her country. She won the Damallsvenskan in 2017 and finished as runner-up three times in the Swedish Cup. She also won the league and cup while playing in England.

The talented forward has already amassed seven caps with Sweden’s senior women’s national team.

Hedvig Lindahl and Linda Sembrant are through to the UEFA Women’s EUROs semi-final with Sweden

Linda Sembrant’s injury-time goal sent Belgium away from the tournament as Sweden won 1-0 at Leigh Sports Village on Friday night.

Sweden’s win over Belgium earned them a spot in the Women’s Euro 2022 semi-finals, where they will play the host nation England on Tuesday at Bramall Lane stadium.

This victory against Belgium was also Hedvig Lindahl’s second consecutive clean sheet of the tournament so far. She kept a clean sheet when Sweden beat Portugal 5-0 in their group stage final match.

South African international midfielder Leandra Smeda has joined Spanish second-tier side Dux Logroño

The 33-year-old midfielder penned a one-year contract with Dux Logroño. The Banyana Banyana star, who is among the top South African footballers in the history of the country, comes from UWC Ladies in the Premier League of South African women’s football. 

She previously played for Famalicao in Portugal and Vittsjo in Sweden, where she helped the club win its first-ever medal, finishing third in the 2019 Damallsvenskan.

In 2018, Leandra made history by becoming the first South African to play in the Uefa Women’s Champions League with Lithuanian giants Gintra Universitetas.

Leandra made her 100th appearance for her country in a friendly international match against Japan in Fukuoka in November 2019. She represented South Africa in several top international competitions, including the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil, the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France, and multiple CAF Women’s African Cup of Nations finals.
