Marija Banusic signs with Napoli 

Sweden international forward Marija Banusic has signed a contract with Italian Serie A club Napoli Femminile

Banusic’s Italian adventure continues with Napoli after a season spent with Parma.

Banusic has decided to continue honing her football abilities in Italy by signing with newly promoted in Serie A Napoli. She joined Serie A in the 2020–2021 season with AS Roma and accumulated experience by playing with Pomigliano and Parma. She brings to her new club a lot of sports experience, as she has also played in France, Sweden, and England.

The Swedish forward spent last season with Parma, and she registered four goals and one assist in 13 appearances.

LTA Players are through to the Round of 16 at the 2023 Women’s World Cup with Spain, South Africa, Australia, and Denmark

Spain’s Irene Paredes featured in all three group-stage games and was spectacular as Spain beat Zambia 5-0. They also won 3-0 against Costa Rica to finish second in Group C and advance to the Round of 16 at the Women’s World Cup. Spain will face Switzerland on Saturday, August 5.

Refiloe Jane made history with South Africa as they qualified for the Round of 16 in a FIFA tournament for the first time. The African side finished second in Group G with a 2-2 Draw Against Argentina and a win against Italy. Jane featured in the two first games. Banyana Banyana will play Netherlans on Sunday, August 6.

Co-host Australia finished first in Group B after winning two of their three group-stage matches. They won 1-0 against Ireland in their opener, and they trashed Olympic Champions Canada with a 4-0 victory. The Matildas and Aivi Luik will face Denmark on Monday, August 7.

Sofie Junge’s Denmark reached the tournament’s next stage after two victories out of three matches, 1-0 against China and 2-0 against Haiti, to be ranked second in Group D.

Zambia international striker Barbra Banda has secured her place in Women’s FIFA World Cup history with her first goal against Costa Rita

Banda continues to make her mark in Zambian football and internationally.

She was named player of the match in Zambia’s 3-1 win over Costa Rica.

The Copper Queens captain scored a goal and provided an assist as Zambia recorded their first ever victory at the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Barbara’s goal was the number 1000 of the FIFA Women’s World Cup, a landmark moment in the tournament’s history.

Barbra and her country were participating in the World Cup for the first time. They lost their two first group stage games against Spain and Japan, and they finally ended this first World Cup campaign with a win over Costa Rica.

The talented striker is the first Zambian woman to play professional football; she also captained the team that qualified for the women’s Olympic football tournament for the first time in their history.

Kenya striker Jentrix Shikangwa and Cameroon midfielder Ngo Mbeleck Geneviève  have moved to China’s Super League side Beijing Beikong Women Football Club

Harambee Starlets striker Jentrix Shikangwa joins the Chinese side after a standout season in Tanzania Premier League with Simba Queens. The left-footed player was awarded the “Golden Boot” after scoring 17 goals in 22 league games under the Simba Queen shirt. She was the division’s leading scorer and helped the team finished second in the league.

Prior to Simba, she played with Turkish side Fatih Karagumruk, having previously led Vihiga Queens to three straight Kenya Women’s Premier League titles.

Ngo Mbeleck who wil wear the number 40 shirt in her new club comes from Turkey. The midfielder had a successful stint with Fenerbahçe Petrol Ofisi, helping the club finish second in the league. Prior to Turkish, she won two Israel league titles, the State Cup and the Athena Cup trophees, with Kiryat Gat where she played three seasons before joining Maccabi Kishronot Hadera’s side in 2022.

Veteran Spain midfielder Veronica Boquete (36) will stay at Fiorentina for another season after renewing her deal until 30 June 2024

The Spain midfielder who will enter her third consecutive season in Fiorentina colors next season, played an important role in Fiorentina’s finishing fourth last season. She scored eight goals in 25 league games played. As her team advanced to the quarterfinals of the Italian Cup, she also scored two goals.

The former Spain international played for clubs in the United States, Russia, Sweden, France, Germany, and China. She captained the Spain national team at their first World Cup appearance in 2015.

Ghana international midfielder Grace Asantewaa has moved to Mexico Women’s Premier League side FC Juárez Femenil

Asantewaa will join the 2023 Liga MX Apertura from the Spanish Liga F, where she spent four seasons with Real Betis and EDF Logroño. She joined Real Betis in july 2021 from EDF Logroño. With Real Betis outfit, the talented midfielder has played 57 league matches and scored eight goals. She joined Logroño in 2019 from Ampem Darkoa Ladies in Ghana.

The 22-year-old is a permanent member of the Ghanaian Black Queens, with whom she is currently playing in the Olympic Games qualifiers.

The FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 that will be held in Australia and New Zealand will start tomorrow, and among the 32 teams that will take part, five of them have leaders and experienced players represented by us.

Irene Paredes, Spain and FC Barcelona’s captain, is considered as one of the planet’s top center-backs. The 32-year-old veteran has already accumulated more than 90 caps with the Spanish national team. She will participate in her third World Cup, which is also the third appearance for her country.

Barbra Banda, Zambia’s women’s national football team captain, is playing in China with Shanghai Shengli. The 23-year-old forward led Zambia to their first COSAFA Women’s Cup trophy in 2022. She is Africa’s all-time top scorer in the Olympic Games history after scoring two hat-tricks at Tokyo 2020, Australia and New Zealand will be the World Cup’s first appearance, both for Zambia and Banda.

Sofie Junge Pedersen Danish defensive midfielder who just signed at Inter Milan from Juventus, the 31-year-old made her international debut In December 2011 and since then, she has been a constant member of the Danish senior team with whom, she reached the final match of the UEFA Women’s Euros in 2017. She has already won more than 85 caps, and this will be her first appearance at the World Cup.

Refiloe Jane, South Africa’s Banyana Banyana captain and Sassuolo (Italy) midfielder, is an experienced international with more than 100 appearances for South Africa. The 30 year-old shared the armband with another player as they led South Africa to its first Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (Wafcon) title in 2022. Impressing at the World Cup in France in 2019, she also represented South Africa at the 2016 and 2012 Summer Olympics.

Australian Aivi Luik is a versatile veteran who will play in her second World Cup. The 38-year-old midfielder has already amassed 43 caps with the Matildas. She made her World Cup debut in 2019 in France. She plays in Sweden for BK Häcken.

Romania midfielder Ștefania Vătafu has extended her deal with Belgian champions Anderlecht for another two years

The Romania international has extended her spell at Anderletch for a third time. The 29-year-old, who joined Anderlecht from UD Granadilla Tenerife (Spain) in 2018, is now under contract until at least 2025.

The playmaker has been a key member of the club on and off the field since her arrival. She has played a truly prominent role in the five consecutive league titles and the Belgian Cup that the team has won since her arrival.

Ștefania has earned more than 100 caps with the Romania Women’s National Team.

Sofie Junge Pedersen has signed a contract with Inter Milan that runs until 30 June 2025

Sofie has opted to continue her Italian Serie A adventure with Inter Milan after her fantastic time with Juventus. She won three Serie A titles, three Italian cups, and three Italian Super cups while playing with Juventus, whom she joined in 2019. She played 75 league games and scored 14 goals in her five years with Juventus.

Danish international midfielder joined Italy Serie A from Damallsvenskan in Sweden where she played for Vittsjö and FC Rosengård.

The experienced player of 84 caps with Denmark, Sofie is included in the final roster for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup for Denmark.

She joined another player represented by LTA Agency at Inter, Cameroon striker Ajara Njoya.
