Laura Rus retired from the national team

Farul Constanța striker Laura Rus announced her retirement from international football with Romania after the match with Croatia on December 5
Born in Bocsa Laura Rus, 36, is one of the most important players in the history of Romania’s women’s national team. She has many achievements in football.
Well known as ”Lala”, the forward represented her nation for 19 years, earning 140 national team caps and being considered one of the top three scorers.
The UEFA Women’s Nations League match against Croatia was Lala’s last national team game. She wore the captain’s armband and left the field in the 74th minute, to the applause of the fans present in the stadium.
