Laura Brock signs with Guingamp

LTA Agency have arranged the transfer of the 30-year-old Australian international defender Laura Brock to EA Guingamp of French top flight (Division 1 Feminine) where she will join Malian international Aïssata Traoré represented by our agency

Laura Brock, better known by her maiden name – Alleway, joins Guingamp on a one-year deal from her second stint at Melbourne Victory. Laura has spent most of her professional career in her home country’s top division, W-League. She made her W-League debut with Melbourne Victory, moved to Brisbane Roar two years later, then played for Melbourne City before returning to Melbourne Victory for 2017/18 season.

The three-time W-League champion with Brisbane Roar (2010/11) and Melbourne City (2015/16, 2016/17), Laura has also spent time abroad with former English FAWSL side Notts County (2012) and American NWSL side the Orlando Pride (2016, 2017).

Laura is the Australian Women’s National Team (the Matildas) veteran, for whom she has earned 60 caps and played an important part in major international tournaments. She has represented her country at the 2011 and 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cups. She also played at the Olympic Games in Rio and won the FFA Cup of Nations in 2019.

Her new team Guingamp are still in the running for the 2019/20 Coupe de France féminine. They are set to meet Olympique Lyonnais in the semi-finals on the 9th of August before starting the new League season in September.
