Lala signs with Sassuolo
Romanian international striker Laura Roxana Rus (Lala) has joined Italy's top division (Serie A) side - Sassuolo Calcio.
Before arriving in Italy, Lala’s short return to Apollon Limassol has been a successful one as she lifted the Cyprus Super Cup and helped Apollon reach round of 16 of UEFA Women’s Champions League.
While in Cyprus, she played every game for her club, scoring seven goals in the League and 3 goals in Champions League.
As part of the Romanian National Team, Lala earned 59 caps and scored 27 goals thus far. Lala has played and scored a goal in the recent 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup Qualifications matches.
