The 32-year old Australian midfielder, Aivi Luik is back to Melbourne City FC’s Westfield W-League team.

She has spent one season with Vålerenga in Norway’s first division (Toppserien), where she played 1796 minutes in 21 league matches scoring 3 goals and 270 minutes of 3 domestic Cup matches.

The creative midfielder is back at home with Melboune City FC of the Australian top-division women’s football League – Westfield W-League. With Melboune City, where Aivi played two years before joining the Norway’s side, she had won her third league title, featured in 28 matches playing a vital role as the club won their second W-League championship.

Aivi’s return to Melbourne is an exciting news for both sides, as she is looking forward to helping the team achieve more success this season, and the club is happy to welcome her once again.

“I’m delighted to be back at Melbourne City for a third season. This Club is like a family, and I feel so blessed to be part of such a professional environment.”  said Aivi.

Head Coach Patrick Kisnorbo said Luik’s return would be a welcome addition to City’s squad: “Aivi is a great competitor who shows great determination and character in every performance. Her positive attitude and work ethic both on and off the pitch makes her a fantastic role model for the younger players in the group. Aivi’s experience will add considerable strength to our midfield and we’re delighted to have her on board again this season.”

LTA Agency wish Aivi a lot of success at her new/old club.
