Irene Paredes has qualified for the 2022/23 UEFA Women’s Champion League final with FC Barcelone
Barcelona advanced to the Champions League final for the fourth time in the previous five seasons thanks to their strong performance against English champions Chelsea in the semi-finals.
In front of a crowd of 72,262 at Camp Nou, the third-largest attendance in the competition’s history, FC Barcelona drew 1-1 in the second leg after a 1-0 victory in the first leg to progress to the final of the UEFA Women’s Champions. Irene Paredes featured in the two-leg match, playing 90 minutes.
FC Barcelona will face german side Wolfsburg in the final of the UEFA Champions Women’s League which will take place at the Eindhoven’s PSV Stadium in the Dutch city, on Saturday June 3 at 4 p.m.
Wolfsburg is currently ranked second in the Frauen-Bundesliga, while FC Barcelona is leading in the Primera Division standings.
