Hedvig and Sembrant into euro semis
Hedvig Lindahl and Linda Sembrant are through to the UEFA Women's EUROs semi-final with Sweden
Linda Sembrant’s injury-time goal sent Belgium away from the tournament as Sweden won 1-0 at Leigh Sports Village on Friday night.
Sweden’s win over Belgium earned them a spot in the Women’s Euro 2022 semi-finals, where they will play the host nation England on Tuesday at Bramall Lane stadium.
This victory against Belgium was also Hedvig Lindahl’s second consecutive clean sheet of the tournament so far. She kept a clean sheet when Sweden beat Portugal 5-0 in their group stage final match.
