Swedish international defender Emma Berglund won the 2021 Swedish championship ”Damallsvenskan” with FC Rosengård who wrap up his 12th title
This past October 17, 2021, FC Rosengård sealed the Swedish Damallsvenskan title with two games to spare, winning 3-2 at away to Piteå to open up an unassailable seven-point lead over Häcken.
The new champions have dominated the league during the season, having lost only one game out of the 20 already played.
Holder in Rosengård’s centre back defence, Emma made 18 league matches appearance so far, to help FC Rosengård to clinch their 12th league title. A win that ensures FC Rosengård a place in next year’s UEFA Women’s Champions League qualification stage.
The 32-year-old defender moved to FC Rosengård from Kopparbergs Göteborgs FC (now BK Häcken) with whom she won the league last season. This title is her sixth title in Sweden and the second won with Rosengård after the first in 2015.
LTA Agency congratulate Emma on this title.
