Kenya midfielder Cynthia Shilwatso has signed a deal with Spanish second division side EDF Logroño B

Shilwatso, 21, comes from the reigning Kenya Women’s Premier League (KWPL) champions, Vihiga Queens with whom she bagged three successive premier league titles 2017, 2018, and 2019.

Since her debut at senior level in 2017, she becomes a constant feature in both: the Under 20 and the Kenya Women National team. Shilwatso scored her first goal in a friendly match against Jordan on 31st August 2017 in a 2-1 win she had netted both goals for Harambee Starlets. The scintillating midfielder has more than 21 caps and has 12 goals scored for Kenya national team.

The Spanish outfit confirmed via a tweet that the young forward will be training with the first team this season.
