Banda called-up for COSAFA

Barbra Banda has been named in the final 20-member squad of Zambia for the COSAFA 2020 Senior Women's Championship that will be staged in Port Elizabeth, South Africa from the 3-14 November 2020

Shanghai Shengli striker, Barbra, comes off her debut season in the China Women’s Super League with the title of the Best Goal Scorer of the League. The talented player has been key in Zambia’s historic qualification for the 2020 Women’s Olympic Games billed for Tokyo. She also played in the 2019 and 2018 COSAFA Championships, the latter when Zambia were finalists.

Ten countries will participate in the 2020 edition, and Zambia have been drawn in Group B alongside Malawi and Lesotho. The Copper Queens will face Lesotho on 4 November in their opener.
