Cote d’Ivoire international striker, Ange Koko N’Guessan has signed a one-year contract extension with a Spanish topflight side UDG Tenerife Egatesa
Ange Koko, 27, joined UDG Tenerife Egatesa last season as her second Spanish outfit. She featured in 25 Iberdrola Liga matches and scored twice as UDG finished fourth in the league table this season.
Prior to UDG Tenerife Egatesa, she spent one season with another Spanish powerhouse, FC Barcelona, with whom she reached 2016/17 UEFA Women’s Champions League semifinal. She was also runners-up of the league the same season and won the Copa de la Reina.
As part of the Cote d’Ivoire National Team, Ange Koko has earned 22 caps and scored five goals. She was runner-up of the 2018 first ever WAFU (West African Football Union) Women’s Championship.
