Sevilla FC midfielder Aivi Luik has been selected in Australian squad for the upcoming Olympics in Tokyo from 21 July to 6 August 2021

Australia, next co-host of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023, are in the same group as Sweden, USA, Australia, New Zealand and make their debut on 21 Jully against New Zealand at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

Aivi features in the 18- women squad that will defend Australia colours in Tokyo. The 36-year-old experienced midfielder who featured in the last FIFA Women’s World Cup in France has already amassed 30 caps with the Matildas. It will be her first participation in the Olympics games.
