Banda opened her goal-scoring account in the USA National Women’s Soccer League, and she also won the Woman of the Match award
Zambian forward Barbra Banda scored her first goal for Orlando Pride in her second league game appearance. After contributing to all three goals in the Orlando Pride 3-2 win over the Washington Spirit on Saturday night, Banda was named woman of the match.
She scored the second goal, provided an assist in the first goal, and created a penalty to help Orlando beat the Washington Spirit 3-2 away during their second game of the season.
She made her debut for Orlando as the 61st- minute substitute on April 20 in a 1-0 home win against San Diego Wave. Last Saturday, the 24-year-old earned her first start for the USA powerhouse just in her second appearance, and now she has scored her first National Women’s Soccer League goal.
LTA Agency congratulate Barbra Banda and wish her more goals with Orlando.
