Goalkeeper Andreea Părăluță claimed Liga Iberdrola 3rd spot and qualified for UEFA Women’s Champions League next season with Levante UD
The Romanian international played seven league matches this season to help her side to finish on the podium. Andreea has been named player of the match in their recent 1-1 draw game against Sevilla on 20th June. Levante suffered an unfortunate defeat (0-1) against Atletico de Madrid on the final day of the 2020/21 Liga Iberdrola season last Sunday.
It is the third consecutive season that the Valencia-based club reached 3rd place in the league table. Levante also reached Spanish Supercopa Femenina and Copa de la Reina 2020/2021 finals.
Andreea joined Levante in the 2018-19 season, and she was the club’s first-choice goalkeeper before her elbow surgery in May 2020. She played 25 matches in the first season in the club.
The 26-year-old player is a key member of Romania national team. She has represented her country in several international competitions and has earned more than 40 caps.
