Sembrant and Sofie are champions
Linda Sembrant and Sofie Junge Pedersen have won the 2019/20 Serie A championship with Juventus
Both players appeared in every league match before the pandemic. The club played 16 games and did not register any defeat. Defender Linda scored twice and midfielder Sofie three times to contribute to Juventus’third successive trophy.
Before Italy, both players bagged their first championship trophy in Sweden, winning respectively for each one Linda and Sofie, the Damallsvenskan in 2012 and 2015.
The Sweden international Linda(33) joined the Serie A top-flight in 2019 from Montpellier in French Division 1. She is France 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup bronze Medal and the 2016 Olympic Games Silver Medal winner.
It is Sofie’s second spell in Italy with the club and her second successive Serie A title. The 28-year-old Danish international reached the 2017 UEFA Women’s Euro final.
