Veronica Boquete has extended her deal with AC Milan for another year
The Spanish midfielder Vero has signed a new contract with the Italian outfit whom she joined last November from Utah Royals of the National Women’s Soccer League, USA.
Vero helped Milan to the Serie A second place this past season, therefore securing a historic Champions League qualification, the club’s best achievement since their recent debut in the Italy’s women’s top level.
The Spanish maestro featured in 14 league matches and four Cup matches (Coppa Italia and Supercoppa). She has been instrumental as Milan reached the Italian cup final: she scored two decisive goals in the second leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final. Vero has also registered three assists for the team during this season.
Being a legendary player who has already achieved great recognition both in Spain and internationally, Vero hopes to leave just an important mark in Italy.
