Sofie joins Fortuna Hjørring

Danish international midfielder Sofie Junge Pedersen has signed a contract with Fortuna Hjørring until 30 June 2027
Having previously played for Fortuna from 2012 to 2015, where she captained the team and contributed to their Danish league title in 2014, Sofie has returned to her home country after a successful European career that included stints in Sweden, Italy and Spain.
Sofie signed with Fortuna Hjørring from the Spanish Liga F with FC Badalona, where she played 18 league matches in the just-ended season.
Before FC Badalona, she had an incredible career in Italy, winning four Serie A titles, two Italian Cups, and three Super Cups with Juventus, where she played for five seasons before joining Inter Milan. She assisted Inter Milan in its historic first qualification for the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
Sofie moved from Fortuna to Swedish top club FC Rosengård in 2015, where she won Damallsvenskan in 2015, the Svenska Cup and Svenska Super Cup in 2016.
She also played with Vittsjö GIK in Sweden and Levante, another Spanish team.
Sofie started representing her country at a very young age, playing for Denmark’s under-16 team. She also represented Denmark at the U19 and U23 levels before joining the senior team, with whom she has amassed more than 89 caps.
Sofie joined Andreea Paraluta a Romanian goalkeeper at Fortuna Hjørring, who placed third in the Danish women’s league in 2025–2026.
LTA Agency wish Sofie Junge good luck in Denmark.
