Sembrant and Pedersen renew with Juventus

Linda Sembrant and Sofie Junge Pedersen have signed contract extensions with Italy's Serie A champions, Juventus

Sembrant and Pedersen’s new deal with Juventus will run until 2023.

Sofie was our first player to be transferred to Juventus in December 2018. In July 2019, Sembrant also joined the Italian champions. They are two of the Juventus regular players who helped the Bianconere win the Italian Serie A and Cup titles.

In her first season in Italy, Sofie scored a memorable goal as Juventus beat Fiorentina 1-0 in their first game at the Allianz Stadium in front of a capacity 39,000 fans – an Italian record attendance broken for a women’s game.

Playing in the center of the park, the Danish international Pedersen has piled up a total of 56 league appearances, scoring 12 goals for Juventus since her arrival .

This season, Pedersen has already made 29 appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals and one assist.

The experienced Swedish centre-back, Sembrant has played 14 times for Juventus this season, including two UEFA WCL appearances and three cup matches, despite her injury of last year which forced her to miss many games this season.
During her three seasons at Juventus, the 35-year-old defender played 44 league matches with five goals netted.
