Burundian striker Sandrine played her first game for her new club in Chinese Super League, and she made it one to remember by scoring two goals and winning player of the match.
The 25-year-old striker found the net twice (in the 14th and 90+1st minutes) in the match against Guangdong, helping Changchun secure a 3-2 victory in their third match of the season.
Sandrine signed with the club in February and only joined Changchun early in March following the international break, where she played for Burundi in the first round of qualifying for the CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2026.
She left Masar FC in Egypt’s top flight, where she was one of the best forwards thanks to the multiple goals scored for the team during her time spent there. She also led Masar FC to third place in the 2024 CAF Africa Women’s Champions League.
