Ruth Aturo signs with LTA

LTA Agency are happy to announce signing a representation contract with the young Ugandan national Team goalkeeper Ruth Aturo.

The 24-year-old goalkeeper currently plays with Uganda champions UCU Lady Cardinals. She helped her club to win their first-ever FUFA Women Elite League title in 2018-2019 season after dethroning her former club Kawempe Muslim FC where she played from 2013 to June 2017 and won with them, three successive league titles (2015, 2016, 2017) and was named league-best goalkeeper in 2015 and 2017.

Ruth capped 18 times by Uganda female national team, the Crested Cranes” that she has represented at many international tournaments and earn many distinctions.

Thanks to her technical skills and smart saves Ruth had a memorable 2018: she was named the best goalkeeper in both tournaments. CECAFA (Council for East and Central Africa Football Associations) and COSAFA (Council of Southern Africa Football Associations) championship. To crown the year she was elected FUFA ( Federation of Ugandan Football Associations) Female Player of the Year 2018.
