Tanzania international striker Aisha Masaka has signed a contract with England's top-flight Brighton & Hove Albion

She is the LTA Agency’s first African player to be transferred to the FA Women’s Super League.

Aisha moves to Brighton & Hove Albion from the Swedish side BK Häcken, where she spent two seasons and half years during which she helped the team finish runner-up in the Damallsvenskan twice, runner-up of the Swedish Cup three times, and reached the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League last season.

The 20-year-old joined BK Häcken from Yanga Princess SC in Tanzania in March 2022, having also played with Alliance Girls FC in Tanzania. The talented striker was awarded Tanzanian Premier League Best Goal Scorer in the 2020–21 campaign, netting 35 goals in 20 matches for Yanga Princess.

On the international stage, Aisha has represented Tanzania with distinction at youth and senior levels. Having debuted in 2021 with the Tanzania Women’s National team, she has already amassed 15 caps and nine goals. She was also part of the Tanzania squad that qualified for AFCON 2024. With the U17 National Team, she scored an incredible 27 goals in 14 games, representing Zambia at the under-17 COSAFA in 2020 and the U17 CECAFA CUP competition in 2019. The team won the COSAFA, and she was named the best goal scorer in both competitions.

LTA Agency wish Aisha Masaka good best of luck in England.
