Mahira Ali has won the 2024 CAF Women's Champions League third place with FC Masar

It is an exceptional year for FC Masar, who have added the CAF Champions League Bronze trophy to the Egyptian Women’s Premier League and Cup trophies won earlier.

FC Masar won the Champions League on penalties shoots against Edo Queens (Nigeria), following a scoreless draw in regular time.

For the team’s first appearance in the tournament, they finished third and they were voted the Fair Play team. Mariha played 90 minutes in every group stage and final stage game. In the third-place final, she scored the winning penalty and was named the MVP of the match.

The CAF Women’s Champions League 2024 was hosted in Morocco.

FC Masar’s former name was Tutankhamun FC.
