Emma crowns 2022 champion

Emma Berglund has lifted the 2022 Damallsvenskan trophy with FC Rosengard who have won a record of 13 league titles

On Monday, October 31, FC Rosengard won the championship after a 3-0 home victory against Djurgården.

The Swedish champions were also victorious in their final match last saturday against Brommapojkarna at Grimsta IP. Rosengård comfortably won 3-0 away and finished seven points ahead of second in the table.

It is Emma’s second consecutive trophy won with the reigning champions since joining them in December 2020 from former Göteborg with whom she also won the championship in 2020.

FC Rosengard only lost two games from the 26 games. Emma, the vice-captain of the team has played 22 matches and scored three goals to help her side to maintain the leading position in Swedish football. The swedish defender now count seven domestic ligue title.

The Damallsvenskan — the top-flight in Swedish women’s soccer — has featured other players represented by LTA Agency this season notably Swedish Goal keeper Hedvig Lindahl and Congo RD striker Flavine Mawete who have ended the league in tentht position with Djurgarden as well as Australia midfielder Aivi Luik and Aisha Masaka of Tanzania who were runner-up with BK Häcken.
