We are delighted to announce that Zambia striker Barbra Banda has inked a new contract with LTA Agency

The 25-year-old, holder of the African Women’s Footballer of the Year named in December 2024, has signed a new deal with our agency.

Banda is a superstar striker who plays for the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) club Orlando Pride and captains the Zambia national team.

She is a proven goal scorer who signed with Orlando in 2024 and made her first season in the USA unforgettable. Banda led the Orlando Pride to the NWSL Shield, and 2024 NWSL Championship, and was named the NWSL Championship Most Valuable Player.

Before USA Banda’s tally of 18 goals for Shanghai Shengli in 13 league matches made her the 2020 Chinese Women’s Super League Golden Boot winner for most goals scored in the league. She also had a stint in Spain with EDF Logroño.

Despite her young age, she is already a major player in world football. In addition to winning the 2024 CAF Women’s Player of the Year, Banda made the CAF/FIFPRO Africa XI 2024. She also won the BBC Women’s Footballer of the Year and was featured in the FIFPRO Women’s World 11 of 2024.

Banda is Africa’s all-time leading scorer in Olympic football history, with three hat tricks scored in two Olympic games. With 10 goals, she won the Golden Ball and helped Zambia win the 2022 COSAFA Women’s Cup.
