Barbra Banda has been nominated for the 2025 FIFPRO Women’s World 11, the only global football award voted for exclusively by professional footballers

Zambia captain and Orlando Pride striker, Banda is among the nominees of The FIFPRO Women’s World 11 for her second straight year. She became the first African player to make the Women’s World 11 after being selected for the first time in 2024.

Voted for by over 25,000 professional players each year, the prestigious award celebrates the 11 best players at the end of each calendar year.

Banda’s inclusion in the shortlist follows her hot start in 2025, after an outstanding 2024 campain. She is tied for sixth with eight goals this season and is in second for shots on the year in NWSL, although she suffered an injury that kept her on the sidelines of Orlando Pride’s last ten season-ending matches.

Many LTA Agency players have already been shortlisted for the FIFA FIFPro Women’s World XI since its launch in 2016 :

Spain : Veronica Boquete (2020), Irene Paredes (2023,20,21,17,16 ), Victoria Losada (2017)
Sweden: Hedvig Lindahl (2020,19,17,16), Caroline Seger (2017)
Romania: Laura Rus(2017), Andreea Părăluță (2017,2016)
Zambia: Barbra Banda (2024)
Cameroon: Gabrielle Onguene (2021 )
Denmark: Line Røddik Hansen (2017)

Four of them have been in the final FIFPRO World XI selections: They are Barbra Banda in 2024, Veronica Boquete in 2020, Irene Paredes, and Hedvig Lidahl in 2017.

The FIFPRO Women’s World 11 will be announced on Monday 3 November at 12:00 GMT on Fifpro’s social media platforms.

LTA Agency congratulate Banda for her inclusion in the shortlist and wish her good luck.
