Aturo signs with FC KTP

Uganda national team captain Ruth Aturo has inked her first professional contract with FC KTP Kotka in Finland

The 26-year-old Uganda’s number one goalkeeper, captain and one of the country’s best female players. Ruth will join FC KTP Kotka from UCU Lady Cardinals actually second in the Uganda Women Super League table and previously, she played with Kawempe Muslim FC. She has won many league titles (2015, 2016, 2017,2018) in her country and was named league-best goalkeeper twice (2015 and 2017).

An outstanding goalkeeper, Ruth has made more than 25 career appearances for Uganda female national team Crested Cranes” that she has represented at many international tournaments and earned many distinctions. LTA Agency wish Ruth the best of luck at KTP and a lot of success in Finland.”
