Andreea wins the double in Danmark
Romania goalkeeper Andreea Paraluța has won both the 2024/25 Danish league title and the Cup title with Fortuna Hjørring
Fortuna beat FC Nordsjælland 1-0 in the Danish Cup final (Kvindepokalen) on Saturday to complete a Danish domestic double after winning the league (Gjensidige Kvindeliga) four days earlier.
Romania goalkeeper capped off an incredible season with Fortuna Hjørring with her two first-ever Danish trophies won.
Andreea’s team was crowned Danish Super League on Tuesday before winning the Cup on Saturday. Fortuna became champion for the 12th time in history after drawing Brøndby 1-1. With the league secured, Andreea and Fortuna Hjørring set their sights on clinching the cup. They accomplished this on Saturday, defeating Nordsjaelland 1-0 to win the Cup trophy as well, giving them two trophies in a single week.
Andreea joined Fortuna in February 2024 from the Spanish club Levante UD. She appeared in 21 league matches this season.
