Ajara renews with LTA

We are delighted to announce that Cameroon international forward Ajara Nchout Njoya has extended her contract with LTA Agency.

The Indomitable Lioness” had an impressive football year with her Norwegian club Vålerenga and her national team.

The 27-year-old talented forward played every single league match with Vålerenga last season and scored 11 goals to help her side earn a maiden UEFA Women’s Champions League qualification spot. They finished Runner-up in Toppserien and Norwegian Cup. Prior to Vålerenga Ajara spent one season with another Norwegian club IL Sandviken where she was Top scorer of the club. It is her fifth top-level championship where she played and won titles after playing in Sweden for Sundsvall where she was the best goalscorer in 2016 after playing in Sweden for Sundsvall where she was the best goalscorer in 2016 she played for Western New York Flash in the USA and eventually in Cameroon where she won the league.

With the Cameroon National Team Ajara had a remarkable 2019 Women’s World Cup in France. She scored two goals against New Zealand that earned Cameroon a last-16 tie against England. Her second goal against New Zealand was voted the second-best of the tournament and was also shortlisted for the 2019 FIFA Puskas Award. She has also featured in the African Qualification campaign for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games scoring a goal that took her country to the final round of the Qualifiers.

There was no wonder that the star made it to the final list of the 3 CAF Awards 2019 nominees for the Women’s Ballon d’Or after all the wonderful show she did on the pitch at club and national level.
