Spain centre-back Irene Paredes has won the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup
Spain lifted the final of the 2023 Women’s World Cup. They reached the pinnacle in Sydney on Sunday August 20 as they defeated England 1-0 to win the Women’s World Cup for the first time.
The Barcelona defender was remarkable with brilliant performances. She was impressive in central defence to help Spain reach the final. She played ;every minute of Spain’s Australia & New Zealand 2023 campaign.
It was an historic and special year for Paredes who, in addition to the World Cup, also won the UEFA Champions League and the Spain championship with FC Barcelona. The is first of our players to ever achieve such a feat.
