Comfort Yeboah has penned her first professional contract with Spanish top-flight side DUX Logrono, marking a key step in the young defender’s development

After a stellar career with Ampem Darkoa Ladies in the Ghana Women’s Premier League, where she competed in the CAF Champions League and won league and cup titles, the Black Queens defender is moving to the Spanish Primera Division.

Comfort becomes the second Ghanaian player to join the club after Nancy Amoh, who arrived earlier this month, also from Ampem Darkoa and represented by LTA Agency.

Last week, the 19-year-old helped Black Princess to a 2-0 victory over Tunisia in the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers—second round, first leg. Following her outstanding play at the Women’s Cup of Nations in Morocco in July where she contributed to Ghana’s third-place result. For her first participation at the tournament, she features in every Ghana’s matches.
