Veronica Boquete, Refiloe Jane, Alessia Piazza, Deborah Salvatori Rinaldi and Lidija Kuliš have helped AC Milan to clinch Champions League qualification for the first time in their history after securing the second place in Serie A
AC Milan had 49 points before the 0-0 draw against Sassuolo who followed them on 46 points. The result helped the ‘rossonere’ to make history as they finished the Italian league in the second spot. Therefore, AC Milan women will play in the 2021/22 UEFA Women’s Champions League.
This achievement has been realized with the help of five players represented by LTA Agency:
Vero (midfielder, Spain) joined the club during the season and featured in 13 league games. Refiloe Jane (midfielder, South Africa) played 17 Serie A matches and scored 1 goal, Lidija Kuliš (midfielder, Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Deborah Salvatori Rinaldi (striker, Italy) both played 9 matches while Alessia Piazza (goalkeeper, Italy) appeared in two games this season.
We congratulate our players on this impressive accomplishment.
