Banda renews with LTA
LTA Agency are pleased to announce the signing of a new representation contract with Orlando Pride striker Barbra Banda
The Zambia captain and Orlando Pride forward, Barbra Banda, has extended her contract with LTA Agency. It is not the first contract extension since 2018, when she joined our team. This is a testament to good collaboration, established trust, and understanding.
Considered one of the top women’s players in the world at 26, this new signing comes after her second participation in the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), where she impressed.
Banda is returning from the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, where she shone despite Zambia’s elimination at the group stage. She was the second-best goalscorer of the tournament, made the WAFCON 2026 best eleven, and won the Player of the Match award twice for her standout performances in Zambia’s 2-1 victories over Malawi and 6-0 against Egypt. Banda scored five goals and provided one assist in three matches. The most exciting goals were in their WAFCON opener, where she scored four, including a 27-minute hat-trick, as Zambia smashed Egypt (6-0).
A key member of Orlando Pride, she has already scored 12 goals in 17 matches this season in the NWSL.
