The Romanian goalkeeper, who joined Fortuna initially on loan from Levante UD in February of this year, has now signed a one-year contract extending her stay in the Elitedivisionen through June 30, 2025.

Andreea’s new contract takes effect on July 1st, following the end of her current terms with Levante, set to expire this June 30. She spent six seasons with Levante. Her Spanish journey started with Atlético Madrid, where she played for two seasons, won Primera Division Women in the 2017/18 and 2016/17 seasons, and was also a Copa de la Reina Finalist in 2018 and 2017.

In the just-ended season, 29-year-old Andreea has played 11 matches with Fortuna, while also traveling with the Romanian national team to matches during international breaks. She kept a clean sheet during her two last matches against Bulgaria in the UEFA Championship qualification.

Fortuna administrative manager Kjeld Simonsen told the club’s official website: In the 11 matches this year, Andreea has delivered distinguished performances and has often been decisive in matches.

LTA Agency wish Andreea good luck for the upcoming season with Fortuna.
