26 Oct 2021

LTA Agency are pleased to announce signing a representation agreement with 19-year old Kenya striker Jentrix Shikangwa

Shikangwa started playing football very young in Primary School, and she quickly proved to be a skilled and talented player. The young player started playing for the national team as a 16-year- old and since then she has already earned 14 caps and scored 15 goals for Kenya. Most recently, she scored four goals (brace in each leg) against South Sudan in their 2022 Africa Women Cup of Nations first-round Qualifier. She also has been capped by Kenya at Under-20 level.

Striker of Vihiga Queens in the Kenyan Women’s Premier League, Jentrix has already won the league title three times. She helped her club to book a ticket to represent the CECAFA region in the first-ever edition of the Total Energies CAF Women’s Champions League Egypt 2021. Vihiga won the 2021 CECAFA Club Champions Tournament which served as qualification for the inaugural 2021 CAF Women’s Champions League which will be held later this year. Jentrix scored the winning goal in the final as Vihiga defeated highly rated Ethiopian Champions CBE 2:1. She was consequently named the MVP of the tournament.

At the senior international level, Jentrix made her breakthrough as she won CECAFA Women’s Challenge Cup 2019 with Kenya Women’s National Team and ended up as the Top Scorer of the tournament in the process.

LTA Agency are delighted to welcome such a promising young player as Jentrix Shikangwa and look forward to a long and successful relationship with her.
