21 LTA Agency players at the 2026 WAFCON
LTA Agency are set to be represented by 21 players in the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco from 26 June to 16 August
The tournament, which starts on Sunday, 26 July has been expanded from 12 to 16 teams from this edition and will have a healthy representation of our players.
The competitive tournament will showcase the very best of women’s football on the continent, with 16 nations naming talented squads. LTA Agency, as always, will be well represented with 21 players from nine different nations.
Egypt Mahira Ali (Beijing)
Burkina Faso: Madinatou Rouamba (Trabzonspor), Alimata Belem (SD Eibar), Judicaël Ouoba (Tausi FC), Naomie Adèle Kabré (Liaoning FC), Déborah Guira (Étincelles), Adama Congo (AEM).
Ivory coast Matoba Cissé (Tausi FC), Ange N’guessan (Costa Adeje Tenerife), Ami Diallo (ASEC Mimosas).
Ghana Comfort Yeboah (DUX Logroño).
Kenya Lilian Awuor (Farul Constanta), Tereza Engesha (Kenya Police).
Mali Fatou Dembele (Costa Adeje Tenerife), Fatoumata Diarra (Tausi FC), Saratou Traoré (Beijing), Aissata Traoré (Boston Legacy).

For this edition, we have nine more players than the last one. There are also some of our former players, like Cameroonian captain Gabrielle Aboudi Onguéné and her compatriot Geneviève Ngo Mbeleck, as well as Amani Kakounan from Côte d’Ivoire selected by their nations.
