Australian midfielder Aivi Luik clinched the 2025 Damallsvenskan title with BK Häcken

Australian star Aivi Luik won her first Swedish championship with BK Häcken, who also lifted the crown for the first time.

Luik played a full 90 minutes as BK Hacken beat Djurgården 2-0 on Saturday 8th to seal their triumph with a game to spare.

Today was the official celebration of the title after winning the club’s last match of the season against Pitea. Luik played the full encounter as BK Häcken defeated their opponents 1-0, a victory that capped a remarkable season.

Luik took part in 16 league games, playing a key part for the club, which finished on top of the table with 61 points from 26 matches.

Luik, who joined BK Häcken in 2022, has finished second for four consecutive years in the Damallsvenskan, while also reaching the quarter-finals of the Women’s Champions League last year.They are competing in the ongoing 2025 UEFA Women’s Europa Cup.

Aivi now counts seven titles won in three different countries. One Danish (Elitedivisionen) title, five Australian (A-League) titles, and one Swedish (Damallsvenskan) title as well. She also won a USA WPSL Championship in her debut career in 2005.

Aivi Luik is a Mathildas veteran with more than 40 appearances for Australia women’s national team and has participated in multiple major tournaments.
