The 29-year-old schemer known for her impeccable technique and incredible vision, has been the face and the captain of FC Indiana for the last 5 years leading the club to the unprecedented 4 US National Championships (including the League and the Cup) in that period and getting to the finals on two other occasions. Leyva has earned over 80 caps for her country including participation in the finals of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 1999 in the USA and the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece. She is one of the most known football personalities in Mexico and is a regular presenter and commentator for major TV channels in Mexico during such events as FIFA World Cups (both male and female), and the Olympic Games.
